    Rebels vs Force, RD1 SR2013

Seats at either end are GA. Rebel Army sits at the southern end of the ground and are always up for a beer or three. I think kronic is usually on the northern end?

    Gaz is captain. All hail.

    Rebels 2013

Last year the first trial was quarters, the second regular. Would be odd to not have a regulation game in the lead up to Super Rugby. Reckon kronic is on the money.

Rebels vs Waratahs, North Hobart Oval, February 2013

I wouldn't call that Rebels team close to best, nor would I say we were 'turned over'. It was a 3-point margin until the 80th minute, and we apparently dominated possession in the last quarter. I agree that the coverage of the game was clouded by Izzy, which is a shame (although great to hear...

    Rebels 2013

Kemu Valetini is a Quins product, robust inside centre with explosive power, in the Tuilagi mould. Represented Victorian and Australian schoolboys over the past few years. Would be a great first VRU Rebel in years to come. A few of the Rising boys/WTG are going down with the playing squad...

    Waratahs v Rebels, RD3 SR2013

cc kronic, jermano et al Had a chat with Adam from the Rebels last night and he knew how disappointed the diehards would be as soon as SANZAR notified the Rebels. I reckon if you get on Twitter and explain everything to @MelbourneRebels nicely, mention how shattered you are, they might sort...

    Waratahs v Rebels, RD3 SR2013

The decision was made today, and was SANZAR's call. Not much else they could have done.

    Rebels 2013

Meet the new jersey, same as the old jersey. Our away one sucks. A prototype had the blue bit more pronounced and continuing on to a V, almost like a Melbourne Demons AFL jersey. Would have been different. I hope one year we bring back the state hoops for an away/heritage jersey. Ah well.

Our 3rds and 4ths would disagree, especially towards the end of the season - people disappear haha.

    Victorian Schools RU (VSRU) 2013

The boys are going well - VSRU U16A are 2 from 2 and U16B 1 from 2, losing their first game by 2 points. Scores are on the Rebel Army facebook page.

    Thoughts on Folau to rugby

The Roar are calling it, one year contract to the Waratahs - http://www.theroar.com.au/2012/12/03/israel-folau-to-sign-one-year-deal-with-nsw-waratahs/

    VRU 2013

I respectfully disagree, kronic. Metro Melbourne rugby needs a restructure in order to effectively split the playing pool. On their own, Box Hill or Boroondara would struggle to attract talent that sees premierships readily available at Unicorns. Together, they may finally gain the strength to...

    VRU 2013

I'm very well aware they're a strong junior club, I've reffed their U14 and U16 several times and their clash jersey is the state jersey :p I guess it comes down to whether clubs should be 'built' in Premier division, or whether Premier should involve complete clubs while Div 2 and lower clubs...

    VRU 2013

Endeavour will be next to go. I'm surprised they weren't relegated with, or even instead of Boroondara. They have done well to grow their club, but results and resources wise, it's very hard to argue for them being a Premier club. University are at real risk if they can't get a junior club...
