Only 1 possibly two returning from this years 1st's, yes they do have some talent, but whether they can gain the experience in time is questionable, competing at 1st XV level is more than 1 level above 2nd XV and 16a's.

TSS look pretty weak next year, no repeating from 2013 1st XV, only have Greenup who plays in the front row, with a couple games at 1st XV level, fairly strong 16s and 15s coming through, sound like they wont be too strong next year. Maybe importing, anyone heard anything?

Nathinel ? Not sure who he is, havent heard any 'hype' over him, he was no stand out in the undefeated team this year mate, chris veriervis and ben simpson were two great wingers who will find a place in next years team.

IMO Perese is a great player and well be a vital pillar for churchie next year, rumour is he is having a knee op and could be out for a couple rounds early in the GPS season. Ive personally seen Sua play at nudgee for league and he is a great ball runner, have doubts on his ability to compete...

Without number 12, and 13 your backline is useless. With 13 coming back, im not sure you'll have it in you? Word is you're importing a polynesian boy by the name of Sua? Great player in league, never seen him play union before

My apologies I totally forgot about those two but yes, they are big assets to the team, Sam Edwards would possibly move back to 15 with Jermumi Nanai in 12 or 13 like he played for the last 3 rounds this year. I totally agree with you, their biggest problem was the walking, even from senior...

    Possibly BBC first XV: 1. Kahn Helms (2nd XV 2013)/ Chris Yanopa (u15A's undefeated) 2. Bronson Takipula (1st XV 2013 Capt.) word is he's coming back 3. Luke Peterson (1st XV 2013) 4. Dylan Leyland (1st XV 2013) 5. Darcy Swain (1st XV 2013) / Tom Davidson (u16A's 2013) 6. Ben Gunter (1st XV...

Who's meant to be the strongest NSW team, juniors, schools or country?
  9. Sam Hauser

    QLD GPS Rugby 2013

No, that team actually lost 2 of their games, according to BBC record books that is. So it stands. BBC have luke peterson (3) repeating and also Bronson has a chance of going around again, Max Dempsey (9), and several flyhalfs, from seconds, 16s and 15s, depth wont be a problem next year...

Any predictions on how the comp will go this year, placings? How teams are looking strength and depth wise? Possible standouts, etc?

Congrats to nudgee on another consistent season, showing why they are the best GPS school for rugby.

    QLD GPS Rugby 2013

First BBC team to win undefeated in the A's since 1953, in for another side full of young talent next year in the firsts

    NSW U16 - schools, NSWJRU / SJRU / CRJU 2013

3 also to BBC in the QLD GPS comp Hugh J.

    QLD GPS Rugby 2013

I'd say BBC to take the lead early like they do most of the time, coming out hard and focused in the backs especially, then TSS to punch back quite rapidly evening it up, stay some what tied pretty much all game, and whoever wins, its by 5. Pre-season match was a shocka for BBC going down to...

Ippy have some of the best ball runners in the comp undoubtedly. Think they were just outmatched in the fowards and ippy backs took some advantage of poor defence down the middle, but the brilliance of the BBC backs just gave them the win.

    QLD U16s 2013

Tyrone Southern dropped out with family commitments replaced with Edwards now starting and Leofa out with Agassi Stowers replacing him on the bench.

    QLD GPS Rugby 2013

Because Luke peterson was injured, bring Bronson from 8 to fill in at 2, and Ben Gunter back at 8.

    QLD GPS Rugby 2013

3 teams can only play off for second now, BBC vs TSS next week, and if ACGS lose to IGS then they wont tie for second with whoever wins out of BBC vs TSS vice versa.

You forgot Christian Malaulau and the possibility of Bronson Takipula repeating is still pending.

    QLD U16s 2013

Totally true, a number of boys whether country or city get noticed no later than 15 years of age, those exceptions of late bloomers at 16, will then either attend a GPS, AIC if rich enough, or a well known school for rugby league or union where they are then given bigger and brighter...
