Tiann Wilkins not happy with this rule I hear, supposedly he has left the school!

Apparently he has come from melbourne to play at nudgee, a full paying student I hear, good rugby player, great height for a second rower but lacks abit of size, easily nudgees first pick at second row since they dont have much depth in that position.

The depth in the centres this year is unbelievable, nothing BBC has ever seen before, but both Foulds and Syd have an equal amount of talent, size and speed, its hard to judge who will make it over who, also Jerumi Nanai to add to the pick who played last year also, but a definitely lock down of...

Great league player, like a lot of league imports, the question is whether or not he can be converted in time for season. Lanskey and Spaander would make a great combo, still wouldnt rate grammar that high with a team like they are going to have though.

All great players, and yes definitely are players to watch this year, but still IMO these players will be the ones to watch closely.

That'd be Jayden Nguma, played exceptionally well at the national 16's last year and was recommended by the ARU to many schools, BBC were lucky enough to pick him up. Great player, excellent feet and brilliant ball skills, lacks some size, but like Josh Boywer, who needs it when you're a superstar.

Players to watch in this years comp, a lot of talent in a wide range of positions: Churchie: Kaylan Ponga (15/13) BBC: Syd Smith (8/6/12) NC: Reece Hewat (4/6/8) TGS: Dean Bender (10/13/15) TSS: Joey Fittock (13/14/15) IGS: Issac Roda (4/8) GT: Kyle Leofa (1/8) BSHS: Tuiana Tualima (4/6/8)...

Nice summary. Would still rate GT higher than TSS though, they have around the same numbers coming back from last year, but GT will have it over TSS fowards with the likes of Leofa and Moroney running around, their backs will likely be matched with TSS having their wingers and outside center...

They might have to with the depth they have in the front row.

Word is from BBC, bronson will not be coming back, have imported a lot more younger rugby players to come through the ranks. Would look for a top 3 finish if their coach can field the best team. Nudgee have mafi in his third year, with gavin luka to play his 2nd year and come back in 2015 for...

This is correct, although more the likely he will return in the green white and black at 2 in 2014. That mystery prop is Connor Christianson of Rockhampton grammar school, played Qld white u/16s this year, will challenge Kahn and Lazarus for the spot

Only Bronson Takipula and Luke Peterson will be playing their third year in the 1st XV, for most others it'll be their second, and for some their first year.

    Team predictions anyone?

    QLD GPS Rugby 2014

Would rate IGS higher, will compete with TSS and GT for 4, 5 and 6. TGS will be weak, but still stronger than grammar and state high which makes 7, 8 and 9. NC, ACGS and BBC my pick for top 3 in 2014.

Robbie Green is not repeating!! With green not repeating fowards lack size, only leofa to cause some damage. Moroney work horse will be a force able to move around the pitch easily. No height in the lineout. Backs only have 3/4 good players, horon, te-rupe, wall, and Pritchard-Malaki...

That'd be great thanks mate, someone also tells me that curtis f. is also attending BBC next year, a great player that played in lachlan's team at the state champs, brisbane green, also made city, plays 6, 7, 8. From the Gold Coast, heard anything?

    Where'd you hear this rumour?
  20. Sam Hauser

    QLD GPS Rugby 2014

Max Dempsey at fullback? Len Ikatau at 10? Max is purely a halfback, and lenny is not a 10, great ball runner and foot pace gives him ideal positioning at 15 or a wing, mate.
