    National U/16 Championships 2012

Trinity (Summer Hill) has eight Opens boys that were here in 2011; with none this time around, the focus might be a whole lot better in 2013.

Australian Schoolboys & National Championships 2012

With 'Regards, Newbie' and defference to CTPE, aren't you two above that? If we keep scratching that sore, we'll end up with the same sh!t that inundated the NSW State Championships threads ...... and some whinger will be banging about how could Orr make this team when West Harbour didn't win a...

    S15 - Rebels V Reds

It will be far worse for JOC (James O'Connor) when he sees his hair in a mirror. What an absolute Barry!

    New Zealand vs Ireland

Thanks mate. Battery just went flat so this might be duplicated. If Im not at a Shute Shield game, outside school/rep season, I do a W Webb Ellis with the remote control to make sure we watch the ABC .... Until bowls that is!

    New Zealand vs Ireland

The problem with arvo rugby in Sydney is what the hell to watch now (until S15 returns) ...... if the cricket starts at 11:30, what Sydney time is that?

NSW JRU State Championships & Representative Teams 2012

The team lineup for the 2011 fixture against country is at http://www.juniors.rugbynet.com.au/default.asp?id=184913 and it appears that there are a few other omissions from last year's squad

NSW JRU State Championships & Representative Teams 2012

...and also Hang 5's comment #100: Well-picked (and ** 'd) Fairpoint. I figure that you've actually spotted some 10 or so from the SJRU U16 team from last year: non-participants, injured and GPS excludees would be the difference there. Yes to both posts about Warringah, particularly a couple...

NSW JRU State Championships & Representative Teams 2012

Sort of quoting SJRU: After the State Championships representative teams will be selected in the Under 15's for Northern Zone, Southern Zone and Western Zone and in the Under 16's for Northern Zone, Southern Zone, Western Zone and Barbarians. These teams will participate in the NSW Regionals in...

    CAS Rugby 2012

I've got it: the mystery is solved. Trinity is just emulating the Wallabies. Not surprising, seeing as quite a number of the green and whites have donned the green and gold of JGS, NTS and whatever other TLAs exist on that pathway to gold. They can win an arm wrestle and then lose a sitter...

    CAS Rugby 2012

Sounds like Harrison Williams was hosting the Aloy's party last Saturday, but some eight of his former SJRU (2011) U16 colleagues from Trinity turned up to spoil it. Aside from the Trinity boys, Harrison and one (maybe two) from Waverley, I think all the other 2011 U16 Sydney Juniors rep team...

NSW U16 Trial Games and Selections 2011

Will that be one thread for the U16 Nationals (including trials before THAT week) so all our ranting and jibbering (whether for NSW Schools, SJRU, or whoever) is in one place?

NSW U16 Trial Games and Selections 2011

Sorry mate, I was joshing, but that reflects a major piss-off factor with all the politics and frogshit and rules-indifference that has gone into the selection of the NSWJRU team .... which, as reflected here, has such shortcomings as only one hooker in a squad of 24, kids that aren't eligible, etc.

NSW U16 Trial Games and Selections 2011

Quite right. There are SJRU boys roughly in 1-15, with some overlap mainly through the middle - and some crowding in the backs as has been debated here. It might have strained the 'quota' for any more CJRU boys to be named! I don't recall seeing the Sydney no.16 on the field either. Oh well...

NSW U16 Trial Games and Selections 2011

Now you've got me! Hoo-werr. By my recollections, Andrew K wasn't at Regionals for some reason I heard at the time, yet (among any others) Tepai M played for MWZ. Beats me. What is the nature of '..the second named side...'? Is it a further side, or a revision of what was named last Sunday...
