Where was Jack Lam for the Canes? a fantastic ACT/St Eddies/Aus school boy player - he has been great for the Hurricanes over the last couple of years and honestly must of been close to getting a All Blacks call up for the end of year tour.

Maybe he is just back in town for awhile before Southland training goes back - as all his family and wifes family is here

Not good news - think the injuries really have stuffed him over - I def saw him as a future Wallaby and the best of all the brothers...

Id love to see the Shute Shield on tv as normal on ABC 3pm Saturday Live for NSW/ACT viewers and then a replay of the QLD game on Sunday at 3pm on ABC for NSW/ACT viewers...and vise versa If there was an option to have 2 live shute shield games though - Sat/Sun then that would be fantastic but...

If they are going to bring back the ARC comp they need to pump alot more money into the marketing, advertising and promotions side of things. From what I saw the ARU pretty much said yep give it one season if we dont break even or profit the comp is cut - which is a stupid way of going about...

Thats not really the point mate - of course the ARU need to do a SHIT LOAD more as grass roots level and for the lower clubs in the shute shield etc - but with a national comp like this clubs will pick their game up, they will be playing for something bigger, more players will be attracted to...

Id like to see each team maybe be able to loan 2 players each from other clubs - and a max of 1-2 international players. In regards to having comps within comps - I think we need to start out basic and work from there - I wouldnt mind maybe seeing a comp between a few teams from Melb/NT/SA/WA...
