    Where to for Super Rugby?

Nail Head Bar. The debate we need to have, is alternative solutions, mine is to introduce private capital to fund and run a new competition, glad to listen to other ideas or whats wrong with my suggestion. Dan, you have totally missed my point, it has little almost nothing to do with the...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Dan Thanks for the reply. I don't want to get into a massive debate, especially as I posted it was not so much about the subject at hand, more the process of the decision making. Why I am so interested in the decision making process is because much of my career has been analysing data and...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I have a genuine question, on what you posted. I would like to know, as your response, is very similar if not common among many rugby folk and officials I know. My question how do you reach such a conclusion and do you actually believe it???????? Why I am making such a fuss is not so much...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Many on the forum have often posted how wrong I am, and how i don't or more refuse to undersatnd. I repeat my often [but not in a while] posted belief, that SANZAAR has become a bureaucracy of its own when it [ SANZAAR's ] welfare is greater than any of the unions it represents...

2018 TV ratings and crowd numbers

Slim & BH The draw for the WC spots is also well known and tool place I think two and a bit weeks after the rugby draw. You guys maybe 100% correct however we could have delayed by a couple of weeks or nominated two kick off times and locked one in after the WC draw.

2018 TV ratings and crowd numbers

Actually the dates for the WC are known about 6 to 7 years in advance. If we make it we are likely to be in the first two weeks. Yes Murphy's Law happened, but we could have scheduled around those two weeks, as the dates for the Russian WC was determined when we lost prior to the WC bid...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I posted this some pages back and post again to explain how it works. I will use FIFA and FFA to explain, interchange FIFA to IRB & FFA to RA. FIFA control soccer world over, and FIFA issue to an organisation in a country the right to run a FIFA registered competitions within that country in...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Please be fair. RA main income stream is the Wallabies. RA will still receive revenue from sponsorship, match day ticket sales, media, mechanise, governments paying for test matches. Meaning they will have more than they have know with no Super Rugby to support. Also as a practical each new...

Well this thread at 12, 000 posts needs some form of congrats to all who have posted, in the main I think the debate has been well meaning and balanced. It’s by far for me anyway the thread I read the most and posted on. For 12, 000 or thereabouts, I thought some reflection was needed. My...

    Where to for Twiggy Rugby?

BH Yes RA will be happy money is being spent in WA. Also a little nervous at messages coming out of the west in finding out was the decision fair. Add how successful its been. As for Pawworth he seems not to be a friend to RA and he is influential. Add Alan Jones. The RA board is under...

    Where to for Twiggy Rugby?

I think its only just starting to come to the collective attention of many in the east, especially at board level, the depth of the mistake they have made, as the original reasoning was those Rebels will react badly and it would be too hard. With Alan Jones rapidly eroding, government and...

I think the Socceroo match ratings will change, they had lots of live sites, add optus and media mediaweek have already done an update to 2.133 by adding in regional's. I still think it was crazy to go head to head .

Tomorrow night will be interesting, RA kept the scheduled match in Melbourne at the same time, same night, and BTW AMMI park is not being used either Friday or Sunday. Move the game to a 18:00 kick off was also rejected as TWAS said media times had already been signed off. I still think with 7...
