No. they won’t be putting the PE $ into a capital account preserved for grass roots. But instead of dedicating 12 or 15% of the bottom line for grass roots in future years, it will be going to the guys in suits.

One thing you know about PE investing, is that funding grassroots is a looong way down their list of priorities

I disagree, I think their will be plenty of roles that won’t be filled when things ramp up again. I would be very surprised if the new guy just pulled out his predecessors org chart, and filled in the blanks. It’s a higher hurdle to justify funding a new role, than to continue funding one.
