    Waratahs 2023

I know it won't happen, but I would start Edmed at 10 with Donaldson on the bench. Donaldson has had two handy games this year, and even those weren't overwhelming. His kicking on Saturday just seemed completely aimless, I fail to see how someone with the feel for a game required of a Super...

Crusaders Vs Tahs - Mordor - 27th May

After Donaldson had his best game last week against the Drua, that must be one of his worst. Absolutely no direction in attack, kicking just seemed completely aimless, and couldn't even kick goals. Holloway was very quiet, I think a rest next week would do him the world of good. Generally...

    Waratahs 2023

I think it would be disappointing if Harrison is not offered another contract, two years ago he was clearly the best of the three tens, and the two injuries weren't related, just bad luck, he may go on to have another ten years of top level rugby. Donaldson had a good game last week, and...

R12: Waratahs vs Rebels - Saturday 13 May

Well that was a good one for the Tahs to win, but I still feel they need to be a lot better than that. They were getting belted at the breakdown, and took 20 minutes to adjust to the speed of the game with the Rebels going wide. I initially thought the Rebs were going to put 50 on them, but a...

Do you know the man Stillmissit? Because I do, and while I think he did a poor job running ARU, he's a pretty good bloke and was very dedicated to his job. I think your comment is pretty ordinary.

    Reds v Waratahs in Townsville

His return from a calf injury is being carefully managed. If you listened to his interview, it was 40 minutes last week, 60 this week and he hopes to play 80 next week. Seems a sensible return to me, particularly when you consider the number of soft tissue injuries over the last couple of years

    Week 8 - Waratahs vs Force - Saturday 15 April @ 7:35pm

What it means is there wasn't an issue that reached red card threshold, not that there was necessarily no issue. By the way, I'm not disputing your claim that the incident shouldn't have been missed, and that these things don't change matches, just making the issue clear

Blues vs Waratahs, Sat Apr 22 Eden Park. RD 9

Can anyone tell me something about Leatigaga and Icely, I'm not from Sydney and they're names I don't know. I am assuming from this team that Hooper, Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase) and Porecki (although he did come off last week with an eye injury) are being rested as Wallabies. Not sure why Faulkner or Hanigan...

    Waratahs 2023

I wouldn't have thought so at the beginning of the year, but I don't believe the loss of Swinton is going to be a huge detriment to the Tahs. While he hasn't been bad, he hasn't had a huge impact, and we really don't lose much with players like Gleeson, Harris, Gamble, Sinclair and Seu to cover...

Gee it will be good when both Quade and Foley retire from the game completely

    Week 8 - Waratahs vs Force - Saturday 15 April @ 7:35pm

Disagree qwerty, the rolling maul completely contradicts every other facet of rugby. Put as simply as I can, it is allowing the attacking teams players to form an effective wall to protect the ball carrier from being tackled. BR may well protest that teams that aren't good at it complain, but...

    Week 8 - Waratahs vs Force - Saturday 15 April @ 7:35pm

The HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes) and Pugh issues to me were very similar, both bringing cards. It seems to me, as both players had their hands on the ball, they were knocked over by the momentum of 16 other 110kg plus players all moving in one direction. I don't see how it was possible for either of them to remain on...

No mention of Holtz on that injury list?

    Round 7: Reds v Brumbies - Friday April 7 @ Suncorp 7:35pm

Partially disagree Hawko. Yes, you are right, there are occasions where intent may not be clear, however I would suggest it often is. As an extreme, a player punches another player, intent is pretty clear. On the other hand, a player goes for a waist high tackle, the ball carrier slips and is...

Southern X, not saying he's better than Wilson, but defence is one of Hanigan's strengths. I wouldn't say he's a powerful defender, but consistently is top or thereabouts of the Tahs tackle stats. That and the lineout are where he excels. It's as a ball runner that I believe Wilson is well ahead...

    Wallabies 2023

So a professional coach, who's won a Super rugby competition, won a world cup, and whose entire career hangs around success, picks a lesser side because of the club he played for forty years ago? And why did Rennie pass on Wilson, hair colour?

    Waratahs 2023

Piggies haven't been all bad considering the number of injuries. Running around without Bell, Vailanu, Holtz, Sinclair, Swinton, Gamble and Gleeson and still pretty much holding their own with the Brumbies pack was a pretty fair effort. Close to parity in the scrums prior to the HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes) sin bin, and...

    Waratahs 2023

Just looking at Pietsch in that photo, I have to say I think Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase), Pietsch and Jorgensen are as good a back three as any in Super rugby. If only we could get 9 and 10 operating effectively to make use of them.

    Wallabies 2023

If Hooper is not captain (which many on here don't like, despite the opinions of McKenzie, Cheika, Gibson and Rennie) my choice would be AAA. Players like Valetini might be certain starters, but has he captained at any level? There's a lot more to being a captain than being a good footballer...

Mostly like your squad UTR, but I don't think Foley makes the plane, and I think there will be three nines.
