    Sydney Subbies 2014

Come down and play for Sydney Irish, we've got about 7 or 8 guys who were in a similar situation in February, but they got taught the basics and are now enjoying their rugby in 3rd grade. Check out the website and feel free to ask if you have any questions. Wherever you're based in Sydney...

    Sydney Subbies 2014

Will you make it out for a beer on Saturday? Had planned to stop into the Clock on my way to the game for a couple but our Ladies Day got the better of me and I just about made the Tahs.

    Sydney Subbies 2014

Couldn't believe the score when I saw it, didn't think Rouse Hill were going that badly this year. We'll be expecting a backlash on Saturday, whatever way the draws and wet weather have worked its our first away game this weekend.

Tahs v Lions, round 14, SUNDAY 18 May

Is the Clock a sit down meal kind of thing or is it cool to pop in for a beer? Its on my walk there so I'll go in for one or two on the way

NRC Law Variations - have your say

This isn't league or AFL, we are bound to play by the same rules as everyone in the world or else the Wallabies and Aussie franchises will ultimately suffer. Unless the IRB direct rule changes none should be applied

Tahs v Lions, round 14, SUNDAY 18 May

I think we need to worry about getting the games won first before thinking bonus points. The last thing we want to happen is go for tries for the off and see some of the error ridden rubbish that we've seen all too often this season and in truth will probably cost us a top 2 finish

    Sydney Subbies 2014

Blacktown has 2 yellows and a red in first grade and their coach got ordered off the ground. Irish were probably lucky not to get a card or too themselves, things got a bit heated off the ball at times. They were lucky not to have a least another yellow and red (one of the yellows was for a...

    Sydney Subbies 2014

2 good wins in 1sts and 2nds for Irish today against Blacktown, lost 21-7 in 3rds but had to play the game with 14 due to a lack of props on our part. After a few disappointing results it was good to get the year back on track for first grade.

    Perpignan

Don't have a sugar daddy with as deep pockets as the other teams pure and simple.

    Tahs v Bye

Its been some turn around in form for the Bye, they gifted each team 8 points last year but have yet to give up a single match point this year.

    Waratahs 2014

He signed for two years initially with an option for a 3rd I believe. He's locked in for 2015

    Northern Hemishpere Rugby 2013

I think his role as a mentor to the young players will be more important to anything his does in the pitch. Hopefully we'll see his influence on a young generation of Irish backs

    Waratahs 2014

Don't see what all the fuss is about, Naiyaravoro has physical attributes that little or none of the outside backs in the Shute Shield have. That, and his rugby background, make taking a minor punt on him something worth doing. You mightn't have noticed but recently our back up wingers haven't...

    Tahs v Canes @ SFS - Round 12

Nice stroll Taxi up Anzac Parade for us to the game, its our ladies day so there'll be a crowd of us heading to the game afterwards all sober as a judge no doubt. 50:50 on the Taphouse at this stage, depends what time the festivities in Coogee wrap up at but I hope to make some sort of...

    Tahs v Canes @ SFS - Round 12

Doh, should have checked the first page. In the space of 2 months we've gone from one of the quickest back lines in the comp to one of the slowest. Not that it matters game plan in attack will still be pass it around like a hot potato! Bring back some pick and drives and don't for the love of...

You guys were very strong I must say, some very good ball carriers in your pack. Was it a complete 2nd grade side that you guys had, or were some of the firsts called in? Hopefully we get to meet again later in the season I enjoyed playing against you blokes.

    Northern Hemishpere Rugby 2013

Munster will be disappointed, Toulon were there for the taking. Its a pity that the last Heineken Cup will go to a team of mercenaries albeit with a history and passionate fans, or a soulless franchise who spent most of their years playing in front of a handful of people owned by someone who...
