Who Should Run The Wallabies Attack in 2013?

Slim, I think O'Connor, Cooper and Lealiifano are the three attacking options and Barnes is the conservative option. O'Connor really played well on the 2011 EOYT - was only two matches but having re-watched the games I was impressed - as I was having re-watched Lilo's matches at #10 last year...

Who Should Run The Wallabies Attack in 2013?

    Brumbies 2013

I expect Cian Healy will be at #1 for the Lions and he took Ben Alexander apart in the RWC 2011 match between Ireland and the Wallabies. The Wallabies scrum going backwards in that match started the rot. The Lions will no doubt seek to dominate at scrum time so something has to change with the...

2012 Statistics In Comparison To The All Blacks

The New Zealand Herald have just produced numbers for the All Blacks in 2012 comparing statistics against a range of countries - seethe article here. I don't think there's anything new about the Wallabies numbers included in that analysis but it's interesting to compare against a range of...

    Nucifora GONE!

Yes, they've all caught up this morning. Brett Harris from the Australian obviously got the scoop on the story as he was well ahead of the others. What does that tell us, given he seems to be an ARU favourite?

    Nucifora GONE!

Interesting that only the Australian have run with the story to date. Are rugby journalists on holiday or have the Australian gone off early? No press release from the ARU yet.

    Waratahs 2013

Whilst Timani has potential he only lived up to the hype in one test against the All Blacks. Douglas was much more consistent in Super Rugby and for the Wallabies. Hopefully Cheika gets Timani playing tighter in Super Rugby and develops him as a lineout option - that's the 'meat and potatoes'...

That was a really interesting watch

    Nathan Sharpe

What a great photo. What a great team player Sharpie's been. The Wallabies without him in 2012 would have been in big trouble. Glad he got the fairytale end he deserved.
