Quade telling it how it is

Would you be happy if the ARU did the same thing to McCabe in a years time?

    Waratahs 2013

To live in brisbane and be the first choice flyhalf. Not to mention a pay rise. All that and the opportunity to play outside genia and have tapuai and Ioane running off your passes.

Quade telling it how it is

This is a bad outcome for Australian Rugby, not something to really be celebrated. Always sad to see a player never reach their full potential. It will certainly cost the reds a lot of money in lost revenue. Wonder what genia thinks about the situation.

    I sure hope so.

Quade telling it how it is

Not picking him "because he wasn't ready", then recalling him the next week after his replacement put in a shockingly bad performance against the all blacks was a bit vindictive. Deans has a history of poor man management - Quade is not the first player to have problems with him.

Quade telling it how it is

For some reason I just can't see him leaving the reds. The wallabies depth at flyhalf is starting to look very shaky considering Beale is up on Assault charges and Lilo is coming back from major injury and is unproven at test level. I dont think either party is this dispute have done...

    Australia v England @ Twickers 17 Nov 2012

I though Barnes played his best game of rugby in a long time. If he can keep knocking over kicks like he did last night I think he should stay at 15 for the both the wallabies and tahs for the foreseeable future. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) always plays better at 13, and tapuai showed why he should have been playing...

On the team selection. I like everything about the backline dingo's picked apart from phipps who I wouldn't have even taken on tour in the first place. In the forwards I would have started Moore over TPN. Dave Dennis gets in by default considering the injuries and suspensions. Certainly would...

Yep that's what I thought he would have done. Physically I reckon Gill is more suited to 6 than hooper or pocock. He's even been know to jump in the line out from time to time.

GAGR Vote - Should Deans go after the EOYT?

The 'too late to make a change' excuse is bullshit if not making a change is going to result in almost certain defeat anyway.

    Rebels 2013

That's because we use to have standards. Now rugby supporters and press are just apathetic.

It really makes you wonder about the ARU injury management procedures. I was really hoping they wouldn't take digby on tour because if you look back at when his form has been best, it is always during the years when he has a full pre season. He's said it himself many times in the past. Now...

Evolution at Green and Gold Rugby - PLEASE READ

Cheers mate I'll give it a go. I still stand by my original point that I made a few pages back that we should re-merge the two main subs and just make the front page longer.

    Rebels 2013

Phipps has been the worst player on the field, from either team, in every test he has played this year. As you said it is sometimes hard to play behind the Australian pack, but none of our other halves have every struggled as much as phipps has. Genia has shone behind far worse packs, even...

Evolution at Green and Gold Rugby - PLEASE READ

So we are a few weeks into this new format. I have to say I think it is killing the forum a bit. It feels like people are posting less, and there is generally less discussion. Furthermore I personally find having to flick between the game forum and the main forum rather annoying. What does...

My mistake. Still would see us up against either South africa, England, France or even argentina in the pools. And as matty said a greater chance of meeting NZ in the quarters.

    Australia v England @ Twickers 17 Nov 2012

I'm pretty sure we drop to 5th in the rankings if we lose this one. Which would see us in the same pool as NZ in 2015. What a total cluster fuck this season has been. I never thought it would get this bad for the wallabies.

    Australia v England @ Twickers 17 Nov 2012

Anyone for Phipps Moore to start Pocock to start Timani for Simmons Samo for Dennis Digby for McCabe and move AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) to 13. Harris/Barnes is a toss up. I think if the rest of the back-line are doing their job we don't need the extra playmaker in barnes, and so harris should be picked for his...

Australia v. France 10 Nov 2012 Stade de France, Paris

Phipps is a club rugby player who cracked lucky. I said after the all blacks game that he was not worth taking on tour. Just not upto it. Apart from that, we lost to a rag tag french team who've had half as much less time to prepare, yet still looked twice as cohesive.
