    Rebels 2013

I think the rebels squad is still too weak to be a real threat in 2013. I expect they to be more consistent and pull of the odd big win, but I doubt they will still be around when the whips are cracking. Also expect them to unearth a few good young players as they have done so far with pyle...

Who Should Run The Wallabies Attack in 2013?

If phipps gets picked over a fit nic white I'm going to throw all my toys out of the cot.

    Rebels 2013

This would be my starting 22: 1. Laurie Weeks 2. Ged Robinson 3. Paul Alo-Emile 4. Hugh Pyle 5. Cadeyrn Neville 6. Scott Higginbotham 7. Jarrod Saffy 8. Gareth Delve 9. Nic Stirzaker 10. Kurtley Beale 11. Cooper Vuna 12. James O’Connor 13. Mitch Inman 14. Kimami Situati 15. Jason Woodward...

Who Should Run The Wallabies Attack in 2013?

RE: Cooper and O'Connor at 10 and 12. Many have been calling for it for a few years now. It may not be a success in practise, but I think it is almost criminal that it has not been tried yet. Having the threat of O'Connor only a short pass away would free up the defence and focus on Cooper...

Should the ARU cut their losses and abolish the National Academies?

My personal opinion is that the ARU should foot the bill for the expansion teams to have an academy. The other 3 teams are big enough to fund their own academies.

Should the ARU cut their losses and abolish the National Academies?

Reds, Force and Brumbies have all side stepped the ARU and established their own academies. The Tahs and Rebels have a raft of invitational players training with them in the pre season. What is the point of bank rolling an academy if the super rugby sides have made it pretty clear they want...

    Waratahs 2013

Will the tahs be releasing any players to accommodate folau? Have the Tah's got an academy like the Reds, Brumbies and Force? I would have thought with the backrow shortages they might stack that with locks and blind sides in the hope of unearthing someone. Stephen Hoiles could be a smokey...

    Thoughts on Folau to rugby

I wonder if they will play him at inside centre? Only position the tahs are really weak in at the moment.

    Wallabies v. Wales - 1 Dec

Shmoo's lost his speed I reckon. He's probably carrying a tad too much weight as well but that is to be expected after such a long injury.

Should Pocock have to earn back his starting spot?

The thing about pocock is that the opposition have to change their whole game-plan to accommodate for him. Hooper has all the skills around the field and plays the perfect linking game, but in terms of digging in at the breakdown and slowing down ball and making the opposition commit I think...

    Wallabies v. Wales - 1 Dec

If I was to sum up the wallabies attack over the last two season I'd quote Paul Keating when he famously said: "It's like being flogged with a wet lettuce"

    Thoughts on Folau to rugby

The tahs don't need him. If it were the rebels or the force stumping up it would be a good idea as they need outside backs but the tahs have too many as it is.

2013 IRB Junior World Championship - France

Will the backrow be: 6. Browning 7. McMahon 8. Cusack A likely addition is Ben Meehan at either halfback or flyhalf. Signed with the reds academy from the storm U20.

    Thoughts on Folau to rugby

Think he might be of tongan decent not samoan. If he is signed in france it will probably be as a tongan as islanders don't count as foreigners. But I doubt he'll play for tonga this far out from a WC as he could be a wallaby if he wants.

    Thoughts on Folau to rugby

Happy to see him playing rugby and with the top 14 on fox nowadays I hope to catch a few of his games. Still don't rate him in the same class as inglis, slater, hunt, but a good footballer none the less. Rumour is he is heading to Toulon. The other wingers at Toulon are Smith, Rooney and...

    Wallabies v. Wales - 1 Dec

I'd love to see some scrum stats comparing TPN and Moore because Moore smokes TPN in pretty much every other aspect of the game. TPN must add a lot at scrum time to justify selection.

    Lions Tour 2013

The english seem like the biggest waste of potential of all the home nations. It is like they constantly don't know what their best team is. Always in a state of slow transition but never really building towards a complete finished product.

    Lions Tour 2013

I don't reckon sexton is a player of the calibre needed to win a lions tour. I would also say the same thing about Phillips and the english scrummies. If the lions lose the tour I think it will be the halves that let them down, as the lions will have the wood over Australia pretty much...

    Qld Premier Rugby 2013

Ready could be a very decent player if he buckled down and sorted out a few parts of his game I reckon.

    Lions Tour 2013

Is it safe to assume Gillroy will be playing some part in this tour? With the likes of Ashton, Bowe, North, Visser and Gilroy the lions are not looking to shaby out wide.
