Super Rugby AU Round 5 Brumbies v Reds Saturday 7.15 GIO Stadium

Greg Clarke has well and truly run his race. Time for some new blood.

2020 Super Rugby Round 4, Western Force v Brumbies, Sat 25 July, Leichhardt Oval 7:15pm AEST

Given how in form Slipper has been at loose head it really surprises me that the Brumbies have made this change but it seems to be working!

2020 Super Rugby Round 4, Western Force v Brumbies, Sat 25 July, Leichhardt Oval 7:15pm AEST

Brumbies replacing a tight head with a loose head and now Slipper and Sio are alternating at the 3 position. Neither of them look too happy. They both have tight head experience but haven't played there for some time.

2020 Super Rugby Round 1 (REDUX): Reds v Waratahs

I agree that Hegarty knocked on. I thought that Swindon's effort to get out of that ruck was largely theatrical. The point I am more trying to make is the incessant whinging from Kearns about the refereeing and calling out Berry personally over and over is just lame. It cheapens the spectacle...

2020 Super Rugby Round 1 (REDUX): Reds v Waratahs

Referee's association should complain to RA about Kearns. Berry is only human. Comments like the ones he keeps making really undermine the entire game.

RWC 2019 1/4 Final England vs Australia

While I agree about developmental pathways in this country working poorly it was the coach who kept no consistency in his selections for five years, it was the coach who picked players out of position, it was the coach who selected players with gaping holes in technique, and it was the coach...

Round 4 - Festival of Hate - Qld v NSW

Some observations from a fan returning from a self imposed rugby viewing ban: 1. Reds basic rugby fundamentals are at a very low standard. Aside from the handling errors, there was several rucks I saw where the only players from QLD who made it to the contest were backs despite the breakdown...

    The Wallabies Thread

It's unnerving that we as fans rest all our hopes for the national team on some very rare wins. Our last win over the All Blacks seems to have given us a false sense of security which has lasted far too long. I struggle to see us improving with Cheika as coach and Foley as our 10. It may be...

    The Wallabies Thread

If you think that the lineout didn't improve after Simmons came on then you are just seeing what you want to see.

Wallabies v All Blacks, Saturday 19th August, ANZ Stadium Sydney

I would go as far to say the only starting back who defended well was Speight really. And looking at the team sheet is that a surprise?

Nah some accountability would be nice actually

Wallabies v All Blacks, Saturday 19th August, ANZ Stadium Sydney

When Quade, Genia, Gill, Higgenbotham play as terribly as their NSW counterparts they get torn apart.

Wallabies v All Blacks, Saturday 19th August, ANZ Stadium Sydney

Cheika has to go. Every strategic decision of his has weakened the team.
  14. Sword of Justice

Wallabies v All Blacks, Saturday 19th August, ANZ Stadium Sydney

Cheika has to go. His captain is having the worst game of his career and doing everything in his power to lose us the game. His all offense back line has let in 4 tries in 1/4 of a game.

British & Irish Lions tour of New Zealand (2017)

100% Joubert was torn to shreds by Wallabies haters and Poite is being torn to shreds by AB fans. He was damned if he did and damned if he didn't. You can't say you were clearly better based on one call that happens to be at the end of the game. Also, they had the ABs had a set play...

    Reds 2017

The factor that we were all excited about at the beginning of the season has been our down fall this year. I vividly remember thinking, "with a roster like that we will beat every other Australian team". But, at the end of the day we rely on 2 or 3 of our big names to carry us and the rest...

Reds vs Waratahs - 29th April RD 10

Mate that tackle was a loving embrace and as you say he has the handbag out.

Reds vs Waratahs - 29th April RD 10

Hilarious watching a player of Mumm's calibre thinking he is relevant enough to start something with Smith.

Ireland v Australia, Saturday 26 November

A couple of key moments/factors from my observations: 1. Kick off after the first Irish penalty goal - didn't even make 10 metres after we had just played 20 straight minutes in our own half. One would think you would bang it deep into the corner and hope for a poor clearance kick to reset our...
