    The new Wallaby jersey

Seems like they are selling like hotcakes, had a couple delays with mine but should be getting it this week! UPDATE: IT ARRIVED! The colors are even more vibrant in person, love it. Material is nice and breathable too - not nearly as heavy as other jerseys I've gotten in the past

You have a way with words, Reg As long as those words aren't in a player's name at least ;) Yeah, it's gonna be a long offseason.

    The Wallabies Thread

Anyone else feel like the Scotland game on the end of a non-stop 6 week tour is a massive banana peel? Has Aus ever lost to Scotland twice in the same year?

Australia v Argentina 7 Oct 2017 in Mendoza

McMahon has been carrying like a demon

Yeah and until grassroots starts generating serious revenue it will always be that way. I'm not sure what your point is. Test rugby is the only significant revenue generator aside from Tier 1 domestic. Is money being doled our properly? Nah, probably not. Will money always need to be doled out...

    Australian Rugby / RA

A player could just opt out of the draft before it happens if they intend to play overseas. The broader issue I'd see with a draft in Australian rugby would be the cacophonous roar from QLD/NSW about players they've invested time/$$ in now going to play the majority of their career in a foreign...

Sounds like some of ya'll want a draft system. Can't foresee that happening when State bodies are as involved as they are in player development.

Springbokke vs Wallabies @ Osfontein 30/9/2017

I remember seeing a similar statistic before the recent test and thinking, "Shame that's gonna change soon" - whoops.

    Favourite rugby moments

Super Rugby final in 2011 had my neighbors showing up at my door in the middle of the night asking me to keep it down. Rd 16 in 2013, Reds v Rebels at Suncorp was the first time I got to see the Reds play live, and they nearly bottled it! Reds v. Lions was an incredibly fun night with a bunch...

    Reds 2018

How many other times in all of professional rugby, anywhere, has a rookie coach been thrown into a Tier 1 competition as head coach and done well?

Springbokke vs Wallabies @ Osfontein 30/9/2017

Kuridrani is such a good defender, we are lucky to have him in the side.

CFS looking fit and in form at a lower level of play? You don't say.. If he has his head and his hamstrings together it's all the better for Queensland, but shit, if history is any indicator I sure wouldn't hold your breath. Speaking of wingers, what happened to Junior? Reg?

    Waratahs 2018

Dempsey is listed as less than an inch shorter than Ned. He's almost exactly a full year older though and that extra year of weights and pies shows.

Springbokke vs Wallabies @ Osfontein 30/9/2017

Feel like DHP slots right back into one of the wing spots when he's healthy. Speight and Hodge have been sorta getting the job done but both have deficiencies to their play on the wing. DHP brings the boot of Hodge but with far more attacking flair and agility/pace, a great footballing brain...

Springbokke vs Wallabies @ Osfontein 30/9/2017

If we can shut down their midfield runners this should be a very simple game for the Wallabies. We absolutely will not have success shutting down their midfield runners unless the boys are actually possessed. Even in their drubbing to the Darkness that Bokke pack was still punching holes at...

Wallabies v Pumas, GIO Stadium, Canberra, Sat 16th September

Simmo has been in a bit of form for the last few months, since the end of Super. He had a big game in Dunedin too.

Wallabies v Pumas, GIO Stadium, Canberra, Sat 16th September

Because Hooper/Timani/McMahon is even more unbalanced than Hooper/McMahon/Hanigan (and he hasn't shown any more than Ned)

Wallabies v Pumas, GIO Stadium, Canberra, Sat 16th September

If anything he's at a serious low-point in form if the NRC is any indication. If you're that big and still can't even make a physical statement in the NRC.. Looking like those handful of tests the other year where he was providing some grunt in tight were the exception and not the rule.
