    Wallabies 2024

I'd say the players all know. I reckon it's to not steal the limelight while the Olympic 7s are on.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

The thing that gave me the shits when I was watching the Ch 9 news report this morning, referring to the Argentina game the sports anchor (whatever his name is) made mention of 'the Roosters' Mark Nawaqanatawase'. I mean he hasn't even been to a training run for them yet, they could at least...

Sevens Lead In and Olympics 2024

I take it heaps of people got up to watch the games? Perfect results so far.

    Wallabies 2024

I'm good with it, the Kiwis set the precedent years ago with some garbage about a senior All Black (SBW maybe?) allegedly was going to to be released to go and play in a 7s tournament or something so they took a week off for that.

    Wallabies 2024

He was one of a number of players rotated out for the Georgia test. Still hot favourite to be the starting 9 for the Saffers, JS was trying to work out who his understudy should be. I'll believe you when you quote your source.

It means that whoever wrote it has no idea what he is on about.

Sevens Lead In and Olympics 2024

In fairness the Olympics rarely place much emphasis on the time zones of us Antipodeans when scheduling the events. It's all about the USofA.

    Wallabies 2024

I just can’t think of any he debuted that are still in Wallabies contention, outside of Tom Hooper. Nonngoor and Schoup maybe, but they weren’t really by design. Certainly can’t think of a back, although he did take Jorgensen on the RWC junket.

    Wallabies v Georgia 20 July - Allianz Stadium 3.45PM

I said to my son at what must have been the 3rd scrum (the one we got the penalty), ‘there haven’t been many scrums, actually I can’t remember when the last one was’. The 4th one was meant to be the last play presumably, give it to Noah to kick out, but we got a free kick off it. The Georgians...

    Wallabies v Georgia 20 July - Allianz Stadium 3.45PM

It's very poor, particularly from Wright given his experience. As BR says maybe there was something up with him so let's wait and see, maybe Donno put his boots on the wrong feet as well. Re Lancaster, overall he was OK but he didn't do anything to jump out at us to say he has to stay there...

    Queensland Reds 2025

I’ve just put the review of the Tahs players up on our thread if you want to jump over and read that.

    Wallabies v Georgia 20 July - Allianz Stadium 3.45PM

Yes, we should beat them more comfortably. And we would have if not for the wrong red card.

    Wallabies v Georgia 20 July - Allianz Stadium 3.45PM

Regardless of what we thought the word Joe used was ‘super’. I suspect he will be the 8 v the saffers. And BR, just reading your post above, this isn’t a criticism but he said ‘Rob was a bit quieter’. Which he was, but still good.

    Wallabies v Georgia 20 July - Allianz Stadium 3.45PM

First time a new wallabies coach has won his first 3 since Robbie Deans apparently. I doubt any of the others had that schedule, but still, after last year we could have lost any of those games.

This article in the Australian this morning is worth a read if you can get around the paywall. Funny, as I write they bring up a story about it on Ch 9...

Don’t you read the newspaper, he’s injured. I think the only other players worthy of consideration were AAA, Hooper, White & Williams.

Good point, I’ll add him to my HMs. I also overlooked Tom Wright’s performance so had better make mention of him as well.

    Wallabies v Georgia 20 July - Allianz Stadium 3.45PM

Just reading through some of the previous posts about the 3-2-1s, it’s a bit dire for us Tahs supporters this weekend trying to allocate points. I'll give Kellaway the 3, having signed with us again having previously played for us. Kaleia should get the 2 as it sounds like he is signing...
