Surely something comes of the CAS survey that was done a couple of months ago. A lot of the questions had an underlying rugby theme. I assume they don’t commission a consulting firm for the fun of it. I still don’t know which schools were the drivers behind this and what changes they are...

As a Knox supporter a lot has to go right this Saturday at Barker. Katoa and Hooper are the best back and forward respectively in the CAS…. When the Knox backline clicks it is exceptional… but it can splutter…. I hope we have a game with no cards and may the best team win… should be a great day out

He probably got dispensation. This is the policy compared to the cas policy. Both can be subject to review by each members committee on a case by case basis. But the GPS base case is more sensible IMO

And the Knox winger Evans was disallowed in 2020 after playing 2 years in the firsts… ended up having to play Gordon colts in his final year at school… I don’t think that’s right.. he had a slight physique and to my knowledge was at the school since either the prep or year 7.

GPS do it differently - it’s no older than 18 during the season or school year (I can’t remember which) that allows the boy who is held back starting school in kindergarten (who subsequently turns 19 in December of year 12) to play which is very different to someone born in January and is...

Rod, Archie Saunders had his head cut open and required plastic surgery in the first minute against joeys. Came from the field which required a reshuffle in the Knox backline with a 2s player having to bank 69 minutes after playing a full game of 2s

Yes I thought the scrum was very good. Just thought the waves props offered a lot of go forward in the general play. It wasn’t a comparison between the 2 sides props (I’m a knox supporter). I thought the waves props were their best contributors together with the 15 on the day

Yeah agree, much more effective at 13 but made a lot of good defensive decisions in the last 10 mins to snuff out the waves attack. I expect Jarah and Archie to be the 12 and 13 picked tonight

Great game. Could have gone either way. Best for Waves 1, 3 and 15…. Best for Knox 2, 8,10,15. I’d expect those 2 props to be selected in CAS 1s tonight.
