    Wallabies 2023

I would have thought the arrogant thing was, not having a S&C team in place once the previous ones departed leaving us with an entire team being injured. Last years EOYT (including the Japanese game) was the perfect way to replicate a World Cup schedule which requires balancing a team for...

I understand the comparisons, but, between Liam being a good 2-4 inches taller than Pocock, having both Wright and McReight on isn't quite Pooperesque. I think in a podcast, Liam mentioned last year when he plays, he brings more physicality and lineout options, while McReight focuses on the...

Depending if you want to play semantics; "Favourite" coach is Eddie Jones - https://www.smh.com.au/sport/rugby-union/queensland-reds-halfback-will-genia-names-his-favourite-games-team-mates-and-coach-20150612-ghm88i.html "Best" coach is Michael Chieka -...

Unsure how much coaching he did during his time in Queensland Reg! That 92-3 loss is still burnt in my brain.

    Aussie Player Exodus

Which is ridiculous when you think about it. It's not easy understanding exactly the type of food you should be eating to help ensure you're properly fueled for the day. Given we have a large portion of our player group who come from large families which often have to feed at a price point i.e...

    Aussie Player Exodus

Australian rugby teams have demonstrated an inability to help the big rigs trim down. I can't speak first hand of how under funded the Super Rugby teams are when it comes to nutrition. Without doxxing this person, I was told how Reds players would go to have a bite to eat after a training session and...

I actually enjoy the white westpac logo and shorts. So much better than when we had the St George logo that was on that horrible blue background.

Ah crap you're right. Just followed all the links and the store the credit applies to is just the usual junk like lanyards. Sheesh.

Looks like it may be comparable to the media polo tee which is also 150m's polyester mesh. It's definitely an easier wearing shirt over the jersey. I think I'll be using my membership credit for that Pasifikia tee over the media polo. Bloody unreal design, really digging what the change back to...

    Concussions and Protecting Our Players

Solved pretty easy by ensuring the defenders head is higher than their are and don't allow them to seal the tackled player. That then gives the attacking team somewhere to safely to aim for in a clean out rather than a head.

6-9 months. For big rigs like HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes) and Taniela, it could be as long as 12.

    Australian Rugby / RA

Benny Alexander has put up some ideas on how to make Rugby stronger in Australia; Can't say I disagree with a single point. More importantly, it's refreshing to see a former player actually put something in writing, for the public that are concrete ideas rather than vibes or sweeping...

Stats are probably skewed due to QC (Quade Cooper) busting his AC/Hip in 2014 (missed 3 French games + 4 Rugby Championship games) then broke his scapula in 2015.

Bit awkward when Hodge starting at 10 was the only time we beat the Kiwis in 2020.

If that's the case, we May as well pick Hodge at 10 and play European rugby. Boot for the corner, maul it and try and score a try. Otherwise give the ball to Kerevi and not worry about going past 13.

Jesus, when you list then Rodha, I agree. Whoever picked those ACs has a terrible choice. Has any of them gone on to coach a successful team? (Honest question as I haven't a clue).

He kept picking Marcus Smith at 10 who struggled to control the game and needed Farrell to do it for him. I don't think he's against picking a flyhalf he can see value in to be fair.

Going to throw it out there, if one is being charged with sexual intercourse without consent, your not going to be in the right frame of mind to be committed to work while you deal with those charges. All up there are 4 separate sexual based charges he's facing. I'd imagine getting your legal...

Yeap, I can't see even if he isn't convicted how he comes back into the Wallabies camp. Goes against everything about the whole crap Drew Mitchell shoves in our face about "being a good bloke".
