TIL - thanks Reg. Hopefully we'll see Maul's have the same urgent use it applied!

    Argentina v Australia Sun, 7/8/2022, 5:10 am

Tell you what, Quade's lucky it's going to take him 24 hours to get back to Australia. All the Foot and Ankle Orthpods have been in Cairns since Wednesday at a conference that finishes today. Even getting on a Tuesday list would have some sore heads stitching him back up.

Is anyone aware of a law at scrum time, that forces the team with a ball at the back to play it? That call against the Wallabies where they were penalised for holding it into the scrum and the Argies folded yet the Wallabies were pinged was an odd one.

GAGR Wallaby POTY v Argentina (1st test)

Agree with your 3,2,1 Reg, but probably not Quade. I think he fell into old habits of pushing pop passes where he just needed to go to ground and let the team recycle. There were to costly times, first 30 seconds and then towards the end of the first half where he was 30cm out from the line and...

    Argentina v Australia Sun, 7/8/2022, 5:10 am

Tell you what, McReight and Hodge just proved why the Aus A program needs to be run. Both thrust into the 23 with weeks of being out and absolutely executed. If I was a player on either team, I'd be so confused at what the ruck interpretation was. Went from pedantic to free for all in the end.

Ah shit, feel for the bloke. I can only imagine that flight home by yourself will be painful. Hopefully anti-depressants aren't on the banned substance list so he can get a chance to combat that chemical imbalance.

    Reds 2023

Hopefully Flook is able to stay healthy - poor bloke seems to have catastrophic injuries on almost a yearly basis.

It shouldn't shock you, it's the same organisation secretly transferred ownership to the VRU to ensure they weren't cut back in 2017.

    Wallabies 2023

Being optimistic, Samu has played a lot of rugby over the last two to three seasons without a massive break. This injury should give him an opportunity to have a forced break and freshen him up before the RWC lead up games and the competition itself without rushing his return.

    Wallabies 2023

I feel like the whole red card and CTE argument is getting a lot of issues thrown into the mixed. We know that the tackler is more likely to sustain a head injury than the tackled player. Looking at the big names that are in the paper about the class action against the RFU, Steve Thompson...

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

You're right - I still stand by my statement of a March timeframe.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Ah yes, I can think of nothing nicer than sitting in the East (Hale St) stadium at Suncorp in February roasting as the Western sun takes forever to drop behind the XXXX brewery and Mt Cootha. Unless Australia is pinching the Qatari stadiums being used at the Football WC, we shouldn't even be...

    Reds 2023

This little man had a pretty good career; 140+ caps for the Tahs and 70+ for the Wallabies.......

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Yeah, I can see the country boys having a chip on their shoulder against the city slickers. But with more city-folk moving out west over the last couple of years, its surely breaking down that stigma? Only reason I hated playing against Downlands and TGS was, that red dirt/clay was rock bloody...

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Yeah - I'm in a similar boat. I have no problems with a 'Country' team being based in Toowomba. But, I have no rivarly between those out west, so its a tad forced. If they want to invoke some kind of tribalism inside of Queensland, they probably need to look at what drives it from the School...

The ridiculous rumoured ban against a fan for calling Eddie Jones a traitor

As Kob mentioned in another thread, there has to be more to what got said as, being called a "traitor" in a vacuum shouldn't normally result in Eddie flipping out. Either more chat was thrown prior to this video or Eddie is being a bit precious. Hell two weeks ago he said this; Something...

    Wallabies 2023

Across the 3 matches, other than Smith getting that intercept, what did he do, that Noah didn't do? I don't think either of them overplayed their hands and both of them leant heavily on the bloke next to them i.e. Kerevi and Farrell. Nothing wrong with that considering both are so young and for...

Australia v England: Match III, SCG, Sat 16th July 7.55pm AEST

Nah, Eddie loves to throw shit on others but can't handle anything come back his way. It must be a sore spot for the bloke to react that way. He can try and retort back with the line of "look how much I've done for Australian rugby" but I'd reply that he set up a generation of props to fail...
