Mate, I totally understand where you are coming from. Unfortunately, guys at that age can be hard to pin down - the Colts competition in Division 3 has always been a hard one to run, because historically clubs have never needed to have colts to play in Division 3. I am from Epping and we have...

    Specialised Coaching

I recently received an email from a former player who has decided not to play this year because he feels that the coaching at the club is stale and he didn't get any advanced coaching to improve his skill set. As first grade coach, this sort of hit me for six, so I thought I'd throw it out...

Dunning is still 50/50 from what I hear - he is still hoping to pick up a contract with one of the Super Rugby provinces, hence he will go to Eastwood first.

Funnily enough Bob, that is Round 2. It comes up when you click on the ladder. Mac Uni vs Blue Mountains - will be interesting to see how the new boys match up with one of the strongest clubs over the last 10 years in Div 3. Hills vs UWSH - sees the probable debut of David Fifita (ex-Wests...

Ozzie Bob, Should be interesting in Division 3.... St George have come in as the last team and will only be competing in 3 grades. Colleagues Convicts will play in their 4th grade slot. I know that there are other clubs within the Division 3 ranks that have less registered players than they...

    Shute Shield 2012

STRAIGHT FROM THE NSW RUGBY WEBSITE Shute Shield – Round 1 Interesting Notes (from my point of view) EASTWOOD: Michael MacDougall at 12 over Sione Piukala.... is the King injured? No Barry Fa'amusili yet.... how unfit is he? MANLY: Hingano straight into 1st Grade from Colts...

Don't worry, Camo... Got it already - I've heard Cross, Phil Waugh and Matt Dunning. Never thought Phil Waugh would quit Uni, if it is true.....

Barbarian, are you having a run tomorrow? I'm having a celebrity appearance at 10 in third grade. Assured my wife that this isnt the start of playing for the year, but merely a one off. How are your numbers?

Prodigy's Epping Rams host Barbarian's Kings Old Boys at Somerville Oval, Epping next Saturday the 31st. Barbarian, it looks as if we will have four grades, possibly a fifth grade, but no colts - how are you guys stacking up?

St George confirmed today as the 12th team in Division 3. Also, onto the Hornsby discussion, word around the traps is that they are in a real bind at the moment. While their newsletter says they have good numbers at training, there is a real concern about the quality of what they have.

Spoke to a couple of coaches from St George - they believe that they will fill the 12th spot in Division 3. Subbies have taken a number of clubs off the list, simply because they are not sure what division they will play in.

    Shute Shield 2012

Anyone with inside knowledge on which players the Woodis took for their WA tour? Was it 1st/2nd Grade players, or mixed club guys

    Sydney Colts 2012

Yeah, had it confirmed by one of the Manly colts coaches that Hingano will play grade. This has become a necessity for Manly, considering the number of players they have lost to the ACT competition.
