Yeah i'd suggest our best player is Whitelock and for all Ardie's flashiness he still isn't a natural 8 which throws out the balance of the whole backrow. In other words Ardie isn't so good that he should be undisputed 8. For example, I could see Ardie being right up there as the best bench...

100%. It doesn't help that ever since Foz took over they refuse to ever move Ardie from 8.

Exactly why there's so much frustration.

I thought the same thing. He'd be a much better option than Tuipulotu.

And my point is good scramble defence whilst down a man in one test doesn't mean the AB defence is very good. The ABs have lost 3 of their last 4 tests, have lost 4 of their last 8 and part of the issue is the defence. It's not the only issue. In their last 5 big tests* dating back to...

As I said the AB defence is very good at scrambling. They did an admirable job when down to 14/13 men. However, there's a difference between 'very good' and 'shit'. I didn't say they were shit I said they weren't a very good defence. When you look at the pattern of previous tests there's...

The AB defence isn't very good. What's the old saying - you need to get to 20 points to beat the ABs. Since the start of last year the ABs have conceded 20 points in 8 different tests. In the last 4 tests they've conceded 40 points, 29 points, 19 points and 23 points. The AB defence doesn't...

That isn't a good thing. They rolled up the field for 17 phases and scored. Almost identical to the start of test 1. Almost identical to Dublin last year. The AB scramble defence is good but it's also passive, which allows the opposition to dominate territory and possession - which in test match...

Australia v England: Match II @ Suncorp 7.55pm AEST, 09/07

Really enjoyed this game as a neutral. Wallabies hung tough despite all the injuries but the real issue is how they got steamrolled in the first half. England were very impressive were able to win the collisions and dictate play. England's new 9 was brilliant. Thought Farrell had a blinder too...

Congrats to Ireland. Way too good. Where do you start with the ABs problems? Tight 5 other than Bower and Barrett sucked. Playing 3 x 7s failed miserably. The ABs have a 10 who can't punt properly, a 12 and a winger who dropped every second ball. The defence coach who has been there 6 years is...

Hamstring. Happened at training this week.

I have a feeling under the roof the ABs will be looking to avoid lineouts and keep the ball in play and tempo high.

Whether Hill gets cited for it or not will determine whether it reached the threshold for a red card offence.

It was high risk though in the current climate. Could have easily gone wrong.

Totally agreed on the midfield - they've shown enough promise to stick with them for a few tests.

Well done Wallabies. That experience of winning with 14 men vs France last year surely helped the team confidence. Noah was quite excellent - especially compared to the hyped Marcus Smith who was a real let down. Itoje should be more focused on playing rugby and less on yelling at opposition...
