    Australian Rugby / RA

They aren't even board roles at NAB and WBC as far as I can see from that screenshot. Capital is a shell of its former self and there's a couple of very short roles in there. That is an industry I have worked in in a former life and I can't see much in the way of similarities to pro sports. I...

    Brumbies v Rebels Friday 2 June 7.35pm

Off an uncontested scrum Wilkin really didn't do well enough to let Samu run 10m from the back.
  3. Sword of Justice

    Brumbies v Rebels Friday 2 June 7.35pm

White cries wolf so often he'll never get that call for off feet to go his way, not that it should have anyway. He's such a good player but it is infuriating and I really hope Eddie doesn't do a Hartley and appoint him captain.
  4. Sword of Justice

    Brumbies v Rebels Friday 2 June 7.35pm

I think White 'cleaned out' Kellaway's head directly into a Rebel player's knee. Terrible attempt without a real attempt to use arms. Should have been a penalty at minimum surely.
  5. Sword of Justice

    The Moana Pasifika Franchise

I would not advocate for their removal at this stage but the lack of engagement with the communities the team is supposed to represent as well as the treatment of Aumua despite assurances that it wouldn't be a 6th feeder team into the All Blacks seem bigger issues to me.

ACT Brumbies v Chiefs - Saturday 27 May

Nice draw and pass from Lolesio there. Must have learnt that from Slipper.
  7. Sword of Justice

ACT Brumbies v Chiefs - Saturday 27 May

Wright a very good winger, not so much at fullback.
  8. Sword of Justice

ACT Brumbies v Chiefs - Saturday 27 May

Must be 20 missed tackles in the last 5 minutes of game play for the Brumbies
  9. Sword of Justice

Highlanders v Queensland Reds, Forsyth Barr Stadium, Friday 26 May

That's such bs. Reds are going to really struggle to stay on their legs for another 10 minutes.
  10. Sword of Justice

Highlanders v Queensland Reds, Forsyth Barr Stadium, Friday 26 May

Faifua looking like he can handle this level of physicality.
  11. Sword of Justice

Highlanders v Queensland Reds, Forsyth Barr Stadium, Friday 26 May

Upfield shown up there. Difficult decision when your prop has been folded up.
  12. Sword of Justice

Highlanders v Queensland Reds, Forsyth Barr Stadium, Friday 26 May

So slow to seal off Vunivalu. 3 forwards just watching the ruck form.

    Wallabies 2023

He wouldn't be a rookie if he was selected prior to the world cup would he? My point being I'd rather we didn't select a player who has a 5/18 record at international level in the last 5 years. Anyway rule 10 to myself.
  14. Sword of Justice

    Wallabies 2023

I totally disagree that the only outcome for Gordon is to fail or that he would necessarily have no preparation into the world cup. Why couldn't we pick him in games leading up? Recent winners have done significant experimenting prior to the championships. Is there a decent chance he'd fail...

    Wallabies 2023

Does this not provide support to the argument he has lost his composure as a 10 in the final stages of a match? This is precisely the point I am making, I'd rather chance our arm than accept another valiant loss. I'd much rather try something and back a young player through adversity. We need...

    Wallabies 2023

Me too, in fact I've never had any injury other than a fractured toe. Nonsensical argument. His experience counts for little to nought when it has been a middling to poor experience for the last 5 years or more.
  17. Sword of Justice

    Wallabies 2023

Foley's best possible game gets worse for the Wallabies every year his career goes on. If we select him at this RWC it'll only be for the purposes of saving the furniture. So underwhelming last year and only ever solid for us since 2015. He was a much better player when he had that deceptive...

    Wallabies 2023

Tupou's going to really struggle to find any way to show it though given he can't even run atm. A man of his physique can only get fit in so many ways. Tupou's comments have been refreshingly honest about his chances. It's just an unfortunate situation and we will really miss him. His ceiling...
  19. Sword of Justice

    Wallabies 2023

There'll certainly be White and Cooper as well as a good chance of Hodge and possibly Lonergan. I feel like I'm forgetting another obvious kicker. If any of those players are injured we'll be replacing them after the wait period with a goal kicker for sure.
  20. Sword of Justice

    Wallabies 2023

I think Eddie will be looking at Carter Gordon and making a comparison with Owen Farrell. Similar builds, both love to lead with the shoulder in tackles (Gordon to this point consistently a lot lower than Farrell), runs straight. Gordon doesn't appear to have quite the single minded...
