    Wallabies v Barbarians - 1/11/14 (Twickenham)

Watching the Red 7, he has obviously been well schooled by McCaw. He's the one in the headgear that has a second crack at the breakdown but forgets that he is running from left to right. F##@# ing cheats !! BTW Retallick is a beast and this is very smart ( went thru the gate and got the timing...

    Wallaby Watch 2014

Hooper, Palu, Skelton, Higgers, Slipper, TPN can all bend the line with ball in hand. Horwill, Moore, Kepu, Fardy, Alexander, McCalman, Sio, Pocock to a lesser extent. Carter, Simmons, Hodgo, Fingers, Robbo, Hanson should be distributors as they don't seem to be as dynamic as the others at the...

    Wallabies v Barbarians - 1/11/14 (Twickenham)

WRT the locks. Simmons has come a long way in the last 2 years. He has improved in many areas of his game. Never likely to be ultra dynamic with his running game but this isn't a reason to drop him. I'm pretty sure Carter will improve at the same rate as Simmons and this can only be good for...

    Wallabies v Barbarians - 1/11/14 (Twickenham)

I'm looking forward to seeing how Cooper operates under Cheika. I rate Foley for all he brings and I rated Cooper on last years Tour. Good option to give Genia and Cooper a start for this game.

    Wallabies v Barbarians - 1/11/14 (Twickenham)

Who thinks Chieka will try and have the same gameplans as the waratahs? Given that it is a different tournament ( no bonus points for tries scored etc ) and he has different personell, will he simply try and impose the waratah plan on the wallabies? What were his gameplans like when he coached...

    Kurtley Beale

Starting to sound like my old housemaster. I'm getting a bit edgy.

You've got plenty of freeboard. Trust me. Now just put that phone down before you do something you have to pretend your are all remorseful about again. Put the phone down and go and do some tackling practice.

    Kurtley Beale

No probs. You have shown sufficient remorse. No previous record. Just leave your 45k and hit the training paddock. We might need your special benchwarming skills at a later date.

Cheika stands to be the beneficiary out of all of this process. McKenzie, the unpopular cost-cutter.

I might be wrong in my assessment but I'll give it a shot. In response to the ARU losing money rapidly, BP and EM cooked up a plan prior to the Lions tour which would see them turn around the financial malaise the code was ( still is ) in. Part of the plan included playing style. EM...

    Wallabies: The Last 10 Minutes

So composure, fitness, gameplan and personnel all need to be looked at. I'd agree with that.

    Ewen McKenzie Resignation

Best perspective I've read on these threads. EM epitomized the sentiment expressed in your post. The players, by publicly supporting Beale showed their lack of support for EM's principles and philosophy. This, IMHO is why EM resigned.

    Ewen McKenzie Resignation

I'm gutted about EM having to resign. I'll be totally gutted if Beale isn't rubbed out like JOC (James O'Connor) was. Reality for the game is that the ARU has no money and has tried to do things on the cheap. The players need to realise what the equation is. EM sacrificing himself could well be the catalyst for...

    Wallabies v All Blacks @ Suncorp - 18/10/14

I agree. I think EM has a plan and a design and I think he knows where he wants the team to get to. However, the plan seems to lack some detail in some areas. It might be good enough to get us to 3-4th in the world. It does seem to be lacking the last 5-10% that is needed to get us to the top...

    Wallabies v All Blacks @ Suncorp - 18/10/14

QLD state of origin team is an organisation which operates a bit like the allblacks. You get the call up and you play the QLD way. Similarly, for the AB's, you bring your skills, fitness, killer attitude from your provincial team but you don't bring your gameplan and team structure, you are...

Hmmm now that's a rank long hop which is just as likely to get you caught on the boundary. I will leave it alone. Dot Ball.
