Very impressed with the young female Ref in Newport vs HVRC 1st grade. She certainly has to on the finals roster for more duties. The colts Ref on the other hand can surely put his whistle away for the winter.

The Subbies womens 7's GF is this weekend featuring Newport vs Lindfield is to be held at Daceyville over a best of 3 game fixture 3.35pm, 4.45pm and 5.15pm. Well done to both clubs for driving and developing this comp and the strong efforts to intergrate the girls into their respective clubs...

Does anyone actually know the finals format? Someone tried to tell me Div 2 is 3 vs 6 and 4 vs 5, following week winners play 1&2 with winners into GF??!!!!!! Surely they are wrong????????? You cant have 6 team make a finals in a 7 team comp.

Just wondering did the Briars player get a yellow card for his infringement in delibately killing the ball? Or did the shocking cheap shot from Hills #10 overide that infringement?

First one is red for mine. 2nd one the player did lift and though he wasnt far from the ground the taclkers intent looked clear.
