Do we have any visbililty of finals format and venues for Div 2 as yet?

My understanding is they already know they are DIv 2 bound next year. Only question is who will be joining them. Forest, Mountains, Drummoyne or Petersham. No one up from Div2and two down from Div 1. Div 1 & 2 are 8 teams next year.

Lol Ok well ignore my finals analysis as I hadnt included teams that are getting belted by 40 points week in week out as semi finalists.

Where do we find out who is playing who this weekend?

In this instance nice work Subbies. Newport will be everywhere come finals time so far better to field this fixture for Beecroft than a Blacktown 1s and Colts cricket score. I see Breakers had challenged Lindfield to a 20 vs 20 boat race and they have accepted. Should be a giggle next Saturday.

Interesting. From the limited games I have seen the refereeing hasnt been as bad as you suggest but I acknowledge of a handful of games Ive seen. Was great to see a female ref in Colts on the weekend and she did a terrrific job.

Not enough firepower in DIV 2 and Div 3 to keep DIV 1 at 10 teams. Knox and Drumoyne to Div 2 to join Breakers, Lindfield, Hills, UNSW, Hawkesbury Valley and Epping.

My understanding is Newport argued against a 2nd/3rd Div amalgation and their President resigned when they were ignored. But hey lets destroy 3 or 4 clubs in 2022 and roll the dice with whats left next year.

Reports from Porters say Blacktown had 9 first graders and 5 colts had to back up to make 14 for 1st grade game. A brave effort from them to honour their wet weather commitments but sadly cannot see them seeing out the remaining session at this rate.

My comment is in relation to its geographic location in a comp that is predominantly centred around clubs in the north and north west of Sydney. If subbies want finals to be played in from of no crowds then thats their decision.

If subbies put DIV 2 in Sefton again they are more incompetent than this comedy circus currently suggests.
