    Lions Tour 2025

Also good to see they're not planning on resting too many players from the Super games against the lions:

November Internationals (excluding Wallabies & NZ)

It probably doesn't matter how long for, there's usually an out for a tier 1 international coaching job (or the cost of getting them out is not insurmountable). It's really just about not breaking the bank getting rid of Gatland, which is why they may be leaning towards giving him the 6 nations.

November Internationals (excluding Wallabies & NZ)

Looks like Gatland might get the 6 nations to turn things around: https://www.rugbypass.com/news/clause-in-wru-contract-could-end-warren-gatlands-wales-tenure/ Seems most likely that he's gone at the end of it though, with the WRU probably starting the search for a new coach in the background...

November Internationals (excluding Wallabies & NZ)

Yeah, the departures in the coaching team have definitely hurt them, but I think they're building a defensive system that can be a real weapon once they learn some nuance and bed down the systems. Currently they're falling for rope a dope tactics that are wearing their rush out, but it's also...

Wales v Australia, Monday 18 November 3:10am AEDT

Two top 5 entries for Wales there, good to see them still finding a way into the record books

Scotland v Wallabies at Murrayfield 12.40am Mon 25 Nov

Seems more likely that Slipper will be getting a break (or is carrying an injury) with Hoopert coming in

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Have to say I'm absolutely loving the 3 man team of Sean Maloney, Michael Hooper and Morgan Turinui on comms and between two posts. Great energy, intelligent takes and excellent chemistry. Probably helps that the wallabies are winning, but I hope this is the seen as the A team by Stan and they...

    Wallabies 2024

That was what I saw too, but easy enough for self injury to leave him shaky

    Wallabies 2024

I said head knock in the match thread, but I didn't hear anything specific it's just what it looked like to me

What are you basing that on?

Wales v Australia, Monday 18 November 3:10am AEDT

He has 23 takes in test matches this year, usually 2 per game but 7 (1st for the match) against the boks in Brisbane and 4 (2nd for the match) against Georgia. He's not as established a jumper as some, but it seems pretty clear he is an option and Schmidt is happy to use him as one. Worth...

    All-Time Crim 1st XV

Crowley probably makes more sense as an overall GM/DoR, he's there to keep them all honest after all.

November Internationals (excluding Wallabies & NZ)

I imagine that's what they want internally, but it's not much help if they decide to change coach now, he's very much not available. If they're really set on locking him up after '27 (and have some indication he wants it too), then that probably increases Cheika's chance for a short term job...

November Internationals (excluding Wallabies & NZ)

Pretty much, but I expect England will put them to the sword. Beyond that it might depend on the blazers in charge thoughts on the next coach, specifically their nationality - Eddie was the first foreign coach they hired and there seemed to be a never again vibe when he left. If they want to...

November Internationals (excluding Wallabies & NZ)

They're building something, which has really only started in earnest after a bit of a post world cup reset, and also dealing with the retirement of a few key players. If I was an English fan (gross) I'd want them to persist and weather this tough period. As an Australian, I love that the knives...

Wales v Australia, Monday 18 November 3:10am AEDT

The way he sandbagged the team with old heads on coming in for the world cup has given them a lot of false hope and really set them up for crushing failure. He threw out a lot of what Pivac had been trying to build (whether or not he was nailing it) and has had to start again himself this year...

Wales v Australia, Monday 18 November 3:10am AEDT

He could see what was coming when we scored that first try, saw the defence cut to shreds a few times in the early stages and new they weren't going to have an answer over the 80.
  19. Wilson

Wales v Australia, Monday 18 November 3:10am AEDT

He is on a large and long contract, I think the higher ups would probably like to see him gone with the next coach getting clear air to rebuild (in a way that Pivac never did in part because of the spectre of Gatland), but they really don't want to pay him out. It's all down to Gatland resigning...
