Would certainly love to have him back at the Reds again next yearThe other one besides Douglas is Ryan Smith. New contract over there but if restrictions are tightened he may become available.
Very good player

Probably not good for him continuing on there, but not necessarily bad. Whatever runs on the board he may have had with Hasler are basically gone now, and he'll have to start again with Hannay coming in from outside. Doesn't have to be bad for him, but it does mean he has a lot less time to convince the decision makers that he's worth another contract. What does the coaching situation at the Titans means for Carter?
he played on the weekend didn't he? Don't suppose anyone watched?
What would you say his chances of playing for the titans are next year? 70%? 60%?He’d be on the market.
Half the squad would be this year and more over the next couple. They are facing the spoon and a new coach. Only a handful are safe.
The poor bloke has been through enough and doesn't need to be added to the dumping ground of the Tah's 10. The Tahs have a pretty crappy record recently with Harrison, Tane and Donaldson all being chewed and spat out.Wonder if he'd come to the Tahs?
Eh he managed to look class at the Rebels, he'll be okay if he can stay fit.The poor bloke has been through enough and doesn't need to be added to the dumping ground of the Tah's 10. The Tahs have a pretty crappy record recently with Harrison, Tane and Donaldson all being chewed and spat out.
Guaranteed Wallabies selection. The poor bloke has been through enough and doesn't need to be added to the dumping ground of the Tah's 10. The Tahs have a pretty crappy record recently with Harrison, Tane and Donaldson all being chewed and spat out.
Guaranteed Wallabies selection.
Waratahs japeIs he?
I’d say 50% he’s still there in the squad but 25% he actually gets a game. Only thing that helps his cause is Foran getting so old and coming last means nobody is safe. What would you say his chances of playing for the titans are next year? 70%? 60%?
I might slip in that Carter is NZ eligible and playing rugby in Australia is an option. From one New Zealander to another.Guaranteed Wallabies selection.

You haven’t changed Slim.To be fair, the NPC is probably a step up from suburban rugby league…
We’ve seen it when they lowered the interchange the last time. Small guys were back. Locks back to being ball players and the utility (14) is a genuine position. They can’t just sit a backrower at centre now. They’re genuine centres again when you see Farnworth, Penisini, Toia, Best etc. not just a brute.I actually think he will end up making a good centre. I feel like the NRL is about to go through some evolution and blending of skills. We will see more edge forwards with a short kicking game and the long kicks being delegated around to centres and fullbacks more often.
There is just so much happening in the HIA space that teams will start trying to diversify their end of set options to protect the key playmakers from being the clear target.
