I have no idea myself. Not me. There are those here who wish to wreck and destroy the reputation of others. In days long past there was a few students who almost had this place shut. This is why the mods are now hyper vigilant to those attacks. There is no warning given.

BTW.....since the thread has been back up, on the whole, is going well again. Couple of idiots occasionally.
Well done everyone. Keeping it classy.

To be honest with you. Yes Riverview are doing well right now but they don’t really have any home grown talent like Newington does and even Kings. They should try and focus on expanding their program rather than relying on “the forbidden word”.
I dont like this riverview lineup either mate!

View don’t need no imports when they have Iggy the Moocher. That now almost forgotten talisman of the Lane Cove lunatics

On watching the replay on streamer both Fonua and their flanker (not sure of name) went off last week . Pretty sure they were getting treatment. Both of them may be injured and out for this weekend?
I wouldn’t be too concerned, due to the comfortable lead I think the trainers didn’t think they were needed on the field and pulled them off to rest, avoid injury and avoid pushing any tingles.

Don’t know any details though, just what I thought when seeing it on the day.

That's a big one. Best forward for them IMO. Granted I've seen limited Shore games but a big out.

Can't help but think the Shore v View game while not a blowout looked like the Shore Forwards got a bit of a battering at the time with some sore bodies at the end of it and subs on. To then back up against a dominant Kings pack had the weekends results brewing well before kick-off.

Just as a precaution. TKS Captain is fine. Their #6 (Toia) was not supposed to play last week but replacement 6 got hurt last minute (very unfortunate) so Toia had to play.

3rd XV Round 3 Preview
This becomes a really crucial round before the break with three undefeated teams (Kings, Joeys & Riverview) and three teams yet to record a win (Scots, Grammar & High) after the completion of round 2. None of the undefeated teams are playing each other so there is a chance they could all go further ahead with consecutive wins here. But it won’t be that simple.

TAS 1st XV v Riverview 3rd XV (11:00am on TAS Backfield)
After a really good win over Shore, TAS has an opportunity to knock off another front-runner when Riverview travels to Armidale. But Riverview have recorded two wins in a row without a point scored against them and will be tough opponents. I picked TAS to beat Shore, and I think this game will also be extremely close with TAS at home again on Backfield, which will be near 1 degree Celsius early on Saturday morning.
TAS by 3.

Grammar 1st XV v Kings 3rd XV (11:00am on Weigall #1)
Following their big loss at Riverview last week, it does not get any easier for the Grammar 1st XV as they face the undefeated Kings side at Weigall. Kings are looking good this year and would be one of the early favourites for the shield after two rounds. Something significant would have to change for Grammar to knock off Kings in this match, so I am tipping a clear sky-blue win.
Kings by 14.

Scots 3rd XV v High 1st XV (11:00am on McKay Oval)
With both teams yet to record a victory so far this season, this match takes on greater importance. One team is going to come away with some competition points. Scots will need more possession than they had against Joeys to get their pick and drive working well. High will need to play the whole 50 minutes and bring the form that they showed in their trial win over Waverley. Could be closer than people might expect.
Scots by 10.

Joeys 3rd XV v Shore 3rd XV (1:00pm on SJC #1)
Joeys defeated Shore in one of their trial matches, but this is prime time, and Shore need the victory to remain in contention for the premiership and to retain the Col Windon Shield that they won last year for the first time. Having witnessed Joeys’ victory over Scots first-hand, I think they are favourites again, but this one will be a very tough match.
Joeys by 7.

Good luck to all players for round 3 of the competition.
