I don't pretend to know the players very well but based on the last 2 games I would have Amosa in the starting team with Karpani.

so for us to qualify:
- score 4 tries
or
- Our losing margin against England + USA's winning margin against Samoa to be less than 135 points..
The (very unlikely) combination of us losing by less than 7 for a bp and the US beating Samoa by 128 points or more still gets us in. Basically any points at all out of that England game guarantees it, but we will probably still get their on points difference without.

USA beats Samoa by 60. All we have to do is lose to England by less than 75. Unfortunately, with England's current form this is not a given. Still, advantage Australia I would think.

England way too good after a good start by us. Referee absolutely terrible though. Didn’t seem to be watching the English team at all.

Maya Stewart looked cooked. Not sure she makes the next team. Maybe injured but she looks slow and lacking confidence.

Ash Masters is a bench player at best these days. At best.

well thats a speed bump negotiated. I thought we might get a bit closer than that but get a sense the English were up for that one.

Now for Canada in the quarters. Watched them against Scotland last night and they look to be strong with some big players in the pack.
I was surprised to see just how many tests the Scots have played, plus their ages - many over 30. Just shows how much of a jump the northern hemisphere has had on our RA's professional program. We're getting there though and by looking at the evidence of how they built the best women's 7s program in the world its hard to think there isnt the talent there as the investment in the women's program slowly increases.

The quarters look pretty tasty next weekend.

Shame no one seems to get around our womens team. I feel like the 2029 World Cup here will be a dud. They might as well play games in Victoria.
