Think the 5 we have is plenty,
Keep it provincial/state based. Simple, everyone understands it. League can run a 2 team comp and it works. So 5 team should work,
Its actually something League and AFL could never do (a state based comp that involves the 5 biggest states). So some merit in Rugby working to its strengths.
Think, where people get confused is trying to combine NRC with a Super/Provincial comp. They are very different and we need both.
As I posted earlier, the Super component comes out of this and the top 3 go on to play the top NZ and SA and bottom 2 play Oceania. This is where the foreign teams come in. Keep them out of the domestic comp till then.

The ARU would have sign-off on any change of ownership, I believe - I assume the plan would be to get Cox to hold off selling to the ARU and then sell when the dust settles.
In any case, it's more than a little bizarre.
No indication that he wants out, just a statement that he will not sell if it means the Rebels are wound up.
Think it's more of a fishing exercise, this time on two fronts (DT and OZ).

Certainly sounded like it was more a sounding board with others from coaching and elsewise, perhaps with an aim of distilling his own ideas about where he wants the Wallabies to go. I'm not sure anyone should see this as, in any way, a step towards proper centralised coaching academy structures as seen in NZ. But it wasn't really that clear.
