It isn't about money really, that's an aside. Its about power and control of the game.

Yes the argument can be made that the ARU/Australian Rugby cannot support 5 sides, but an argument that is just as valid can be made that none of the Australian sides are sustainable.

I would also say that while anybody remains of the board and executive, and anybody appointed by them support will continue to wane. They are toxic and massive liability.

It would be nice to know a teensy weensy bit more about this "offer" before we get our tits in a twist about this.

When was the last time the ARU made an objectively correct decision? I would say they don't deserve the benefit of the doubt.

ARU must be confident at hearing tomorrow. So if hearing fails does TF come back with $100m offer. As lets face it at some price the ARU would have to agree to TF's offer. Just got to be the right offer.

Clyne playing the master negotiator perhaps holding out for a better deal? Seriously....as he has something TF wants which if pays the right price he should get.

Hell of a way to treat a wealthy potential benefactor. More likely it's simply Clyne continuing to be beligerent. Wait for detail I'd suggest.

Actually a wealthy benefactor who may be prepared to pay more. Lets face it this could be the biggest pay day the ARU ever received since the money from 2003 RWC and Lions Tour (b4 they pissed that up against the wall).

I would be hoping that the Force win the right to appeal tomorrow and the ARU fold knowing they can't fight a long legal case.

I don't see Twiggy ever giving up, I don't see how the ARU in its current financial state can go anywhere but down.

Discussion of a new international competition....interesting....new Asian pacific competition one hopes.

Please Cameron just keep the dialogue with TF open as he offers a lot that oz rugby has been desperate for which is a well respected billionaire, with strong business connections and money ready to provide for Australian rugby. The general oz rugby public dont' want to turn our backs on WA and the Force so lets make sure this international competition includes them please. National footprint - you bet - that is what most fans want...
