I'm at watching with the volume down so I didn't hear the chat between angus and the TMO. How did they award that because I didn't see anything that indicated a try?

How does the ref wait until Hodgson is cleaned out to call a penalty? Either it already is, or if it wasn't before then, he becomes off his feet and has to release.

Thought he have is a bit too much time but don't get how he doesn't call it at all until Hodgson is off his feet
