Western Force 2024

D-Box

Michael Wells announced retirement.

Ian Prior not renewed (but not officially retired)

These two were announced but suspect the blood letting has started behind the scenes with announcements in the next week or two

Didn't realise that Prior had been in Perth for 10 years now. It reads like he is hoping for a gig overseas to keep playing. Michael Wells statement is very honest in the challenges that he has faced and the way he has been viewed by many but he has managed to achieve more than most so good on him.

Some serious celebrations with Sea of Blue on the pitch after the Brumbies game.

Mr Pilfer

Alex Ross (28)
Prior and Wells great leaders for the club and wish them the best but also good to see Cron making the tough calls.

Saw another post giving the impression Kaituu was going, no doubt will be a few more but need to keep the core of the group as building well with some good recruits already announced for next year.

If we could pick up a backrower (Leota), second rower (Canham/lukhan) and a couple of props from rebels that would really top it off

Well alreayd getting Swain, so focus should be on keeping Rodda. That will be a net gain. Leota would be a key pickup. Though I wouldn't hate.

4. Swain 5. Rodda
6. Williams 8. Ekuasi 7. Tizzano

19. Carter 20. Harris

Wells sees a lot of opportunity as a lawyer amongst Australian rugby. His retainer greater than his playing contract.
