2014 is over and it was a great effort from the boys to make it as far as they did wining 9 games a club record.

But I have a fearless prediction for you all.

The Force will play in the super rugby final in 2015!

Now some of you may say that I am crazy but hear me out.

In 2010 Ian Prior was playing his rugby in QLD the year the QLD Reds just missed out on a finals appearance after many years in the wilderness.

Then in 2011 he is the reserve half back in the super rugby final and gets the win.

Then in 2012 he makes the move to the brumbies and low and behold they just miss the finals after losing the final game.

2013 comes around and once again he is the reserve half back in the super rugby final.

Which brings us to 2014 and the Force have just missed out on their maiden finals appearance after going down in the final match.

So I'm making the call now that in 2015 the force will playoff in the super rugby final with Prior being the reserve half back once again!

BOOM........I know your minds are blown no need to thank me just make sure you put the house on it.

Remember you heard it here first.

We shall see tic we shall see by the way how's the view down there?

It's pretty good when we have a nursery of fine rugby players to draw upon for the future. Thanks. Have you got a few recycled Argentinians lined up to replace your exiting players next year?

Well, locally grown Oli Hoskins will step in to cover Kieren Longbottom.
Local Dane Haylett-Petty is starting to look like a decent winger, and local Luke Burton is ready to take over at 15.

Force will be fine.

If we told you we did, you can guarantee that would make bunnies out of your forward pack like their counterparts have for the last two years.

Would probably be higher impact players as well.

It feeds QLD, The Force, The Rebels and the Brumbies, sometimes the Tahs too.

You had three players. You did not out number anyone.
False. We had three (Scoble, Haylett-Petty, Lacey) starting in the first XV, to NSW's five, ACT's three, Victoria's two, and QLD's two.

So who are we linked to for next year?
I have heard Lachie Turner and Ben Lucas, but anyone useful?

Ben Lucas would be great.
I like Turner but I dont want him coming West, he is too injury prone and we have been burned in that regard in the past.

I don't want the Reds to lose Lucas. If he does go west, a 10/12 combination of Lucas and Godwin would be outstanding.

I'd still be pretty keen to see Godwin tried at 13. Maybe with CTM at 12.

I think the Force would be looking at Ben Lucas more as a fullback than a 10. Not that Lucas does badly there. Maybe it depends on whether or not Sias Ebersohn stays. Somehow I doubt he will.
