Tahs by 100. No doubt about it.
Your front row wallabies far out class ours and TPN hasn't knocked himself out for days now. Horwill and Simmons have no answer to Skelton even if he does only play one half. Palu is on a one game injury free streak surely a sign his mature body is now up to the rigors of the weekly grind of super rugby. Gill is no match for Hooper. He shaves and the sight of his beautifully groomed golden locks waving in the breeze as he runs around has had many a young waratah fan Embarrassingly excited. In fact the entire pack must be 10kg per man heavier. How could we hope to keep up. It will be just like those times we got smashed by those massive SA packs remember those times?
Phipps and Foley are the new Genia and Cooper who are way past there prime and must easily be well into their 30s by now. I especially like the way Phipps put on that sooky face when he doesn't get his way. I personally can't wait to see AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) feed quality ball to his back three all day and doesn't Beale look fit. Look a quality coaching team would have spent months coming up with a plan to nullify Folau but ours only started yesterday so I fully expect him to carve up. Which leaves us with wingers. Turner is old and slow and shipperly is on one leg and needs a haircut.
Reds are no chance in this one and should rightfully be underdogs.

Agreed. It was markedly better than at this stage last year though.

Every team in the opening round or so of Super Rugby needs to improve their handling greatly. Dropped balls have been a hallmark of every 2014 Super Rugby match I've watched so far.

and place kicks going everywhere but between the posts.

There was a KB (Kurtley Beale) one on the second half. I don't remember it being useless. I'm pretty sure it almost worked.
It looked like Folau called for it.
Happily be corrected on this if someone can watch a replay.
Yep. Just watching the replay, chip for izzy, forced morohan to kick it into touch

Tahs by 60, NSW players wearing 1-14 shouldn't even lace up their boots for this one....

You know I almost feel sorry for those posters from the land of the pink koala - almost! Living on past glories and feeling that earns them some sort of right to feel superior. Here in wonderful Tahland we don't have past glories to live on and drive us it's the future and what's is to come that we look forward to. When you always look behind you you tend to fall over.

That score could happen easily, although if Tahs #15 gets a Yellow Card, we could be in trouble. The Reds could claw back a few points in 10 minutes with 15 vs none.

Reds need to be secure under the high ball. I think they will be coming.

Tahs will need to match the pace of the Reds pack. The Reds have the edge in this dept. Set piece is 50 50 with the Tahs holding a stronger scrum and fair to say we probably have the edge at the lineout.

Hard to split these sides at the end of the night.

I hope that yesterday's game put to bed any suggestion that Folau should be moved from fullback.

Naturally I'm hoping for a Waratah victory and am expecting a much tougher assignment than against the Force.

Against all precedent, I'm also hoping that we see a high quality, high intensity game of rugby.

Who's the ref? (please don't say Glen Jackson)

mate I'd be happy if Izzy moved to halfback for this game

Ease up, Pete, if we can't have a bit of fun before this week's match things're are grim. Those six-toed banjo players from north of the Tweed enjoy this sort of banter, that's all they understand.....

This politeness and almost mutual respect was prevalent in the lead up to the Reds v Brumbies match also. I reckon it's a good sign for the Wallabies that our top three sides supporters are confident but at the same time very wary of their opponents potential. :)
