I wouldn't worry too much about the Canes. They have to play the Chiefs and the Crusaders in their last two games.

One thing I noticed looking at the players after the game is that very few Tahs players wanted to make eye contact with their team mates and there were no leaders speaking to the group and trying to motivate them. Sad to see the team setting records in the wrong way also.

For the Tahs, I would only say that Robinson, Dennis and Palu (maybe TPN) shouldn't hang their heads. It's a familiar tale, scrum pretty good, lineout OK but play from lineout stilted and predictable. General skills, even allowing for the rain, were sub-par. They had chances, but really no clue how to break the Canes defence. Not one.

It might be some solace to remind Tah fans that in 2007, the year after the Force were introduced, you guys finished second last. 2012 is the year after the Rebels were introduced and you guys aren't looking much better. But in 2008 you were back in the grandfinal and very nearly won it.

It couldn't get much worse.
