Hey the Reds haven't played yet!I don't know, I enjoyed that...
Said the exact same thing at my mate's house watching the game. Just bad technique.Long term if TPN doesn't learn better tackle technique his career will soon be over. In so many tackles where he is injured it is because he leads with the head or with the head in the wrong position. I admire his committment and he tackles are a great contribution to the Tahs game but there is also a huge gulf between him and Ulugia (or even Fitzpatrick) as with Kepu/Ryan.

a little embarrassing that the game was stopped and he carried on.TPN is down, what a surprise.

most of the refs now realise that even a life threatening brain injury wont stop him from continuing.Does that in most games he plays, I can't stand it when he does it for the wallabies and I don't support the tah's at all and it still shits me.

yet again this "injury" was the result of absolutely crap tackling technique from TPN.
They did go well at times. Frustratingly, they undid potentially good field position and attacking position with poor options - several very ill-considered kicks (as usual) and some really poor defence in the middle, especially around scrums, which had me wondering if there were communication problems between backrowers / half-back. We had a few half-breaks that could have been useful if anyone in our backs could / would offload.I am going to have to watch this game again, for long periods the Tahs looked pretty good, but the Chiefs' threats were simply too numerous for the Tahs to manage.

As with the Highlanders in Dunedin, to lose to this Chiefs team in Hamilton is no disgrace - they look a pretty good side. But the Tahs had enough ball etc in that game to get closer, and should have shut down at least one of the Chiefs' tries.
The frustrating season goes on.
