Still curious to know how the bigger Tahs carry that weight for a full 80. I don't mean that in a bad way but they had the luxury of dropping back a gear against the Rebels. Whoever is to win this one will have to go hard for the full 80. Those Reds blokes all have been that size for a while and we know what they bring. In saying that I think the Force demonstrated how unimportant weight can be.

If Mowen is 115, then my arse weighs about 50kg.

Well, big-arse :))), when I saw him at the trial match, he was pretty f'ing huge. He may not be quite 115, but I doubt he's much under it. He is a different animal to last year.
Sorry about the big-arse comment, Scotty, but you did set it up!

Best lineup in years, great coach and lots of hype about their season.

Usually end ups with the Reds losing by 15-20 right?

Carter is passing better now off his right hand (passing to the left) but let's see how good he is passing to the right this year.

Some folks who don't pass well one way tend to run too much with the pill when they should pass to their unfavoured direction.

On Mowen - he looked very f*****g big the two times I've seen him at the ground this year - and noticeably bigger than in 2010. It will take a few weeks to decide if the added weight has a net benefit.

He's had a good start though.

Well I just, maybe, stuffed my picks! I clicked on Waratahs by 12 then just couldn't make myself hit the save button. I had to change it to The Reds! But just to punish myself for Being a turncoat, just like Berrick, I left the spread a 12.

Hope the Reds get up (by 12)

There was no excuse for the backline failures really other than nerves, if it was poor attitude then that performance would have done the job of bringing them back to earth without link having to get into it

the atmosphere at AAMI Park in Melbourne is a example as to why Sydney needs a A-Class retangular stadium, you just cant get that sort of atmosphere at ANZ stadium

We should move the stadium talk to a new thread. The SFS is a bit dated now, could do with a huge facelift.
