generally don't drink any of the big name Australian beers, even if nothing else on offer. currently Hitachino Nest White Ale (Japan), Alhambra Reserva 1925 (Spain) and Saison Dupont (Belgian) all cold for the Chiefs v Force and Brumbies v Highlanders tonight. Yes i'll accept i am a beer snob/wanker, blame my girlfriend who used to write about beer for a living.

Leafa has to be close to getting benched right? His lineout throwing is a complete liability.

A hooker needs to do two things: scrum well and throw a straight line-out ball.

Sorry Pat, but only doing 50% of your job is not enough to start every game and play every minute. Tony, put Tom Sexton on!

You've landed a keeper there. Perchance do her parents own a hotel or a brewery?

Ok, spoke to someone at the K&B (Dom). He said they don't take bookings and not geared for larg(ish) groups and suggested the Dove & Olive as somewhere more accomodating to our needs. About 2min from central and has all te craft Beers the K&B has (similar menu too).

Everyone keen for a booking there?

Ok, we're gonna book the D&O for lunch and just meet at the K&B for pre-match drinks from 3ish onwards (no booking). If you're keen for lunch let me know, otherwise I'll see you at the K&B.

I spent most of the week working in Sydney, and I saw not a single bit of advertising for the supposed big ANZAC clash anywhere.

Was it too wet for the Tahs bandwagon to be trundled out in public?

Who does he replace? TT is sold on Fugli as much as he is on Leafa.

Fainga'a is twice the player Fuglistaller is & should be the starting 7.

It has been surprisingly warm and sunny in Sydney today. If that keeps up tomorrow I think we'll end up with a pretty fast track despite the massive amounts of rain early in the week.

What about Little Creatures Bright Ale and Pale Ale?

What about Little Creatures Bright Ale and Pale Ale?

i was more referring to the tooth's, tooheys, hahn's, XXXX's and CUB's. Coopers and James Squires are probably the exceptions. Llittle Creatures make good beer, so to do many smaller oz brewers, Moo Brew i am particular fond of.
