having watched shipperley, jeffries, placid and veainu in action at the club game last weekend. think big red is lucky, not that impressive really. shipperley did a lot, not just finishing but around the ground. the Unicorns waste veainu, every time he gets the ball he looks dangerous, but they give him so little. placid is the work in progress.

agree about leafa, throwing liability to me far outweighs what he does around the ground. sexton must remind TT of his time in Ireland , surely will eventually get some game time.

Braveheart's suggestion of the Keg & Brew in Foveaux Street's hard to go past. Didja know they have some 30 beers on tap? I mean, seriously, we have to humour these poor unfortunate bastards from our deepest south, let's at least have a few decent New South Welsh beers before we shaft them.

He did say that it was his throwing that would keep him out of the squad.

He's got a real case of the yips, doesn't he? Any pressure lineout and it goes to the side. Real shame as he's ticking all the other boxes - effective tackler, carries well, strong at scrum time.

I am a man of varied tastes, so you occasionally find this in my Fridge. Right now I have a mix of VB, Birra Moretti and John Boston Pale Ale. All are good on their days.
