Not a great spectacle but the Brumbies with the same incompetence in attack - what they think they gain from their mid-field kicking game is beyond comprehension. The Brumbies really have no idea how to get to the try line.

Except they scored the best try of the match. Tahs folding on their own scrums all night. Brumbies driving back their tahs on their own feed and not collapsing once and yet Brumbies are penalised? Thanks Steve Walsh, your mates in Sydney are proud. Have a drink to celebrate. :lmao:

Well done Tahs but I'm dismayed by Walsh. Ruined the game.

On the way home now. Walsh ruined it for both teams by his inept management of the game. He resorted to guessing at most scrums. It wasn't helped by poor decision making by the Brumbies at crucial times. The less said about AACs try the better! :angryfire:

Elsom was extremely disappointing and Chisholm is looking so far from an international player it isn't funny. He knocked on at least 3 times.

I reckon there were more then 25 penalties blown tonight. For players to remain on the field obviously proves Walsh is incompetent. Scrums were a farce

That try would be given 9 out of 10 times at least. But on replay, he was tackled to the ground and still held, then went up onto his knees and pushed over the player to score. I don't know if the fact he was still moving all the time makes it OK - momentum and all that. Crawling along the ground is crawling along the ground. Maybe technically Walsh was right, maybe not, but AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) was unlucky I agree.
I'm sure we can have a 3 page bunfight about it now.... ;)

No he wasn't. He was playing for both teams, in a very incompetent clueless fashion

bullshit. if that try has given it would have been a draw.
That pen where holies wasmarched wasa joke.
He missed countless knocks by the tahs.

And more than a few from the Brumbies too. Your point is?

I agree on all points.

It seemed like it was a try, but on the replay it showed him held and driving with his legs. Which is a penalty. But the ability to see that in real time would have been miraculous.

Well both teams were desperate, so there was a big chance it might be ugly. I also thought Walsh was awful and the Brumbies probably got a raw deal with some of his decision making.

What is it with Tyrone Smith and those grubber kicks? He should get dropped next week for persisting with them.

What we all must agree to is neither Hickey nor Friend are able to release the talent they have at their disposal. Give Link a rabble of apparent no names and his ability as a coach and mentor them has become very obvious. LeStrange you dickhead

If that makes you feel better about your team's half of the crap display then good luck to you, louie.

point is he controled the game in favour of the tahs. simple

That doesn't make him a cheat. It's about adapting to the referee, which Hoiles didn't do, nor make an effort to do, with Steve Walsh's blatant arrogant personalty, you make a fucking effort or you are going to face consequences. It didn't take a genius to realise to back off, once he marched, Walsh makes things personal, he does it with all players. Fact is this, The Brumbies individually bought that shit on themselves.
