Waratahs v Brumbies Sat 22nd March 7:30 PM Allianz

Wilson

John Eales (66)
Brums feeling a bit the pain of too much weight and not enough mobility in the back row. Hooper has been good this year but is not pairing with Valetini well. Crying out for Cale to shore up their wide raids, but might be better with Hooper at lock and Scott in 6 given the players available

I just rewatched. Ref was 100% focussed on the low tackle.

AAA then asked him about #1 and ref said mistakenly says "yeah that's who we were looking at" even though they spent the entire time looking at and discussing Heaven's chop tackle

Yep, and the fact the Larkham doesn't like his 12/13/15 trying to get through the line in the centre of the field its all crash ball then try go wide and around the Tahs. Very little attacking pressure. Tahs are out working the Brumbies by doing the simple stuff well.

I know nothing about reffing but he seems super close to the ruck and play. With so many moving bodies and piles of them he can’t be getting a good view of everything.

Hes so close he’s in the way
