Pretty sure advantage can be territorial or tactical so not all knock-on advantages (or any advantage) are going to be for the same duration as each other in every instance. The team with the advantage obviously effects the timing too given what action they take - plenty of variables effecting time of advantage.

Barnes may well line up to win this for the Tahs.

Yeah, to be fair, there's something worth penalizing about 80% of the time in rugby. He's pinging the Waratahs at the moment and wadda ya know, the Crusaders are capitalizing. Luck of the draw with officials these days.

Gotta say, Carter spends most of his time these days just guiding other players around and distributing the ball. Very well mind you but when he attacks the line he is just another player.
