FFS twice in a row last minute goal kicking lets us down. Glen Jackson should have given that scrum penalty a good 3 minutes before he did, kiwi ref in hometown shocker I suppose

Although at no stage should a penalty have been given in that set of scrums. It was just painful because it was the last five minutes.

On field leadership was to blame for the Tahs at the end. poor time management.

whats with the rush kick under pressure Mckiben and Barnes.

9 and 10 change last week and the game changed and the same tonight....... And do recall a post last week that Barnes is a game changer.....

Jackson is shit, but we knew that weeks ago.

Waratahs still had a chance to win and couldn't. It's a season of missed opportunities in that regard. We'd be in the finals right now if it weren't for two missed kicks in two weeks. And while Barnes is a great kicker, he never does well under pressure.

Tahs played best in the first half. Saders did better in 2nd half but not a good game from them, the Saders line-out throwing was crap. Folau did not seem to have a lot of involvement tonight I thought. Happy to get the win but not so much on the way we played. Feel for Barnsy, when Tahs got the penalty I thought it was going over for sure.

Clarification: I don't think Jackson is biased, just that he sucks and can't control the game.

Also, not why the Tahs lost.

I think it was the second scrum the Crusaders back row weren't bound Jackson bottled the call, penalty with 2 minutes to play after the kick. Who knows what would have happened.

I'd agree with Richo we've cost ourselves 6 points this week and last, not to mention other close loses and missed bonus points, this season will go down as the one that might have been.

He pinged hooper out of the game, i heard him say "ball is out" numerous times only to ping him when he picked up the ball. the breakdown was then all for the saders and that had a huge impact on us. some of those penalties for contesting the line out and then 'obstruction' were an absolute farce. you can easily blame the game on the ref for killing our momentum and not being a clear official. also a couple of times he had his hand in the air for a penalty only not to blow his whistle and let the saders take the ball.

saders at home with a kiwi ref who gifts them the game in the 2nd half, everyone will say 'oh typical tahs' but that was horrible.
