Blues: Charles Piutau, Frank Halai, Rene Ranger, Francis Saili, George Moala, Chris Noakes, Piri Weepu, Peter Saili, Luke Braid, Steven Luatua, Ali Williams ©, Culum Retallick, Charlie Faumuina, James Parsons, Tom McCartney.

Reserves: Quentin MacDonald, Angus Ta'avao, Anthony Boric, Brendon O'Connor, Jamison Gibson-Park, Baden Kerr, Jackson Willison.

That 12 to 15 list is formidable and the return of greatly improved no. 8 Peter Saili will not help the Tahs either.

It's great to see Boric fit and ready to play again. All rugby lovers will hope that he has a problem-free return to the game after a long absence.
.

You could argue that Weepu is the form half-back in the NZ conference to date. Luatua probably in the top 3 locks if not the top 2, Luke Braid is continuing his form from last year plus some and in Faumuina and Ali Williams the Blues have a couple of All Blacks who have been playing well so far. There isn't much depth on the bench but this Blues team seems to be full of young, fresh players who seem determined to make names for themselves.

I'm pretty happy with that side. I like that Cheika is rotating and testing the squad. This alone is a huge difference from the Hickey/Foley regime, when top players were ground into the dirt and no one was accountable.

Piutau, Halai and Moala have been playing brilliantly. Ranger would be challenging C Smith for the ABs 13 spot on form, Noakes has been very competent at 10. Luatua has been outstanding in the forwards. I expect the Blues to have a comfortable win, probably by 6 - 9.

Waratahs: 15 Israel Folau, 14 Peter Betham, 13 Adam Ashley-Cooper, 12 Rob Horne, 11 Drew Mitchell, 10 Bernard Foley, 9 Brendan McKibbin, 8 Pat McCutcheon, 7 Michael Hooper, 6 Dave Dennis (captain), 5 Kane Douglas, 4 Sitaleki Timani, 3 Paddy Ryan, 2 John Ulugia, 1 Benn Robinson.
Replacements: 16 Luke Holmes, 17 Sekope Kepu, 18 Mitchell Chapman, 19 Jed Holloway, 20 Matt Lucas, 21 Ben Volavola, 22 Tom Kingston.

Can't believe they managed to keep McKibbin, good to see Betham kept but other than that not much good to say.

Absolute cracker of a day in Sydney. Hopefully we see a huge crowd and a fantastic spectacle.

10 mins to kick off and crowd looks poor again. Maybe it's too hot for the crowd this week

Crowds is consistent as our kicking.
Do these players not listen to he coach?
AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) kick on turn over ball was a pearler.
Right on the Blus line Hooper is tackled and ready to pop, and know one is there, keeping ball in play - we are a whole per season and six games in???
Supporters aren't turning up, they'll soon stop watching it on Fox as well.

Listening on GC through ABC Northern Rivers radio as storms are approaching from the SW. 16k crowd, that's better Sydney....... Probably a few "bushies" in town for the "Royal"!!
