It's irrelevant to this discussion. Let's take as a premise that everyone is lying. All increase 5 kg and 5 cms, the different between them remains the same
Accuracy of stats in a discussion about stats is pretty relevant. Can't assume they're all in/accurate by the same degree

I'd agree normally but he really is a specialist Fullback and I'm not sure about his size for the Wing at this stage. f we are short a Winger I would have rather seen a Centre go to the wing.

I guess it still has to be seen as a trial and its good game time for the kid. Hopefully he's dropping back into Fullback quite a bit.

Fullbacks getting blooded on the wing at pro level is hardly a new phenomenon
Yeah but their are other players that could and should've taken up that position. He's only 18 years old. There is absolutely no need to rush him into the starting squad (especially when he probably isn't physically up for the challenge). It's not like there's any shame with being just a little bit patient with his development into the squad.

I think starting him for a trial isn't going to be the end of the world for him if it doesn't pan out - trials are all about testing players anyway.

If it was a regular round, then yeah, not ideal.

I think it's a pretty clear indication that they see Jorgensen as being closer to featuring in the Super Rugby team than any of those other guys.

If he's good enough, he's old enough. He's fairly small but he also doesn't have the physique where he's likely to be 100kg in a year or two. He's always likely to be a sub 90kg fullback (and that is fine).

With Peitch out injured, I suggest Nemani Nadolo is being hidden till the Brumbies game. Although I thought Taleni Seu had a very good first half last week, Sinclair and Holloway need a run before the Brumbies and Seu should get a couple of minutes at the back end anyway. The backrow remains stuffed with talent and who knows who will run out against the Brumbies. Hooper has to be squeezed in, Will Harris gets his second start at 8, indicating that Coleman thinks he's in front of Gleeson. Gamble vs Swinton for 6 maybe - someone, or probably several backrowers are going to be disappointed when the first round team is announced.

No Perese, no Porecki and especially no Bell is a major worry and must throw some doubt on whether all three will be ready for the Brumbies. That game is an absolutely vital one to win given that it is one of only two games we have at home against the big guns in the comp (away we have Hurricanes, Brumbies, Blues, Reds and Crusaders). A loss could be almost season-ending for a top four spot.

Yeah, best place for Nadolo is training at the moment. We know what he can do and he's had his trial to blow the cobwebs out. Don't risk injury with him with Dylan having gone down. I think the same mentality could be used for Bell in my opinion.

If the Tahs have been focussing on size and power, I think Latu may find himself the starting hooker before too long. I think Porecki tries his guts out but lacks that next level game play and can be sat down when running the ball. He's also good for a couple neck rolls a game when he can't move the defender at the ruck.

That is a very tough away schedule which could very well be 0-5 but the realistic aim should be 2-3 with 3-2 being great.

3-2 and win our home games puts us top or second I reckon, not that I expect it to happen.

Not really a fan of having Jorgensen play as a starter out of position... Dowling could have easily taken up that spot and IMO should have.
Wing is the easiest position to start at Super Rugby level in order to gain confidence

i'm not denying that???? Just think there are players that have more experience and deserve that spot. Nonetheless it's still a trial match.

Sadly after Beale-gate this kid needs all the experience possible ASAP
Yeah i dont see how the Tahs can realistically expect to get by without the bloke who hadnt played for them in years...

I for one am stoked a young talent is going to be getting time over a has-been.
