more broader the Waratahs (and their fans) are the biggest loser. This is a massive blow to their super rugby credentials unfortunately.
Last year they scored 81 tries of which Izzy and Taqele scored 26 (almost a third as their top two try scorers).
This year they've scored 22 tries of which Izzy has scored 4 (just under a 5th).
Looking further at the attacking stats (and recognizing he has played every game so far) for this year and the attacking stats show how much the Tahs depend on him.
He's scored 19% of their tries
He has 29% of their try assists
He runs for 11% of their runs
He makes 19% of their metres
He accounts for 20% of the defenders beaten, a similar number of the clean breaks and more than a quarter of their off-loads.
Try filling that gap!

Looks like his value has just gone up. He would look good in blue, though.

Bringing Naiyaravoro home would be the best possible scenario but otherwise Andrew Kellaway could be worth throwing some decent money at. In terms of being able to fit into the current backline I think those two would be the most able to fit in quickly and do a job next year. Chris Whittaker said that chopping and changing their backline has hurt them this year - agree!

He's clueless in defence. I'd say only one of his tries in the Tahs came from his own making rather than just conventional and unremarkable catching the ball in space and running to the line. There's a reason he wasn't re-signed. There's probably better options in the Shute.
