3 NRC seasons where every performance falls somewhere between crap and didn't have an influence on the result probably has something to do with people's ratings.
Still, he's adequate backup at this stage, and hopefully he becomes something more for you.
That is particularly harsh. Even last year he was a tournament stand out in the first few rounds.

Yeah, I think I must be watching a different NRC to H35 because Horwitz has been a strong performer at that level.
Yeah, as mentioned previously, this is his fourth year, but he has now had 5 pre seasons with the Tahs.By the way, Horwitz got a Waratah contract in 2014, and made his Super Rugby debut last year, so I don't know where the five years comes from. That's three years with a contract, and one season with 13 caps, mostly off the bench, of super rugby.
Hanigan and Holloway both due back for round 4.Almost off the main page - this can't be. Carn the Tahs.
With McDuling and Tolefoa on the bench we're super short of back rowers. Where do we go from here?
With no disrespect to Maclean Jones & Jameson Schultz, it is a curious decision to bring 2 Queensland schoolboy forwards or Oz Under 20 players straight into the Waratahs. Can't imagine that would happen in New Zealand or South Africa. They may be a good prospects however Jones made plenty of mistakes suggesting a lack of experience at senior level. Can anyone enlighten me about the background?Didn't realise the Tahs had pinched Maclean Jones

So the Tahs recruit guys without any intention of playing them . Then when injuries occur and they have to play someone, they get a game. There would have been no intention that those guys got Super Rugby game time in 2017. They aren't even part of the main squad.

Does that mean that they are playing guys who they think aren't ready for Super Rugby? Understand that might be part of a longer term plan however don't think that is good for the players or the Tahs.
