You obviously weren't there. Those tries were all scored down the other wing.

I wasn't talking about tries in which he was done for pace I was actually talking about in general play (BTW - I'll take Braveheart's agreement: he's a hard man to convince) - I had a keen eye on him because I don't understand the idea of signing these blokes who are completely unknown quantities in rugby - it may be that they come so cheap it doesn't matter.
Kellaway is an immeasurably better prospect and is probably a better player right now.

From The telegraph today

Sydney Uni and Stars winger James Dargaville was labelled “ready to go” at Super Rugby level by coach Chris Malone, and he soon could be.

The hard-running back is being pursued by both the Waratahs and the Brumbies.

Taqele is certainly much better than Nadolo was when he was at the Tahs.

Let's hope that Taqele can be converted into a good footballer by next year and potentially close to Nadolo level in 2016. Hopefully it doesn't take Taqele 5 years to become any good.

Nadolo shows that someone with that size and pace can become a huge threat with only moderate skills elsewhere.

You'd have to assume that as the captain who led them to a victorious final and as the current Wallaby captain, then Hooper would retain the role.

But stranger things have happened.

Hopefully the first home game is at SFS in front of a huge crowd.

Would be awesome if it was Crusaders...

Normally the first couple of weeks are derby games I think?

Don't care who it is as long as we win and we keep playing the style that we played in 2014.:)

I think the reds v tahs clashes bookend the seasons as standard now, so if it's that one it won't be. Though I think who has the home game first swaps each season so their first meeting will probably be in Brisbane, and the tahs first home game will be someone else.

Nope. The last few years have been Tahs v Reds first then Reds v Tahs later in the season.

I don't see how Nadolo is any better than TN

i was reading down the thread wondering if anyone would come up with that excellent view. consider me "me, too"

i'd say, from what i saw of this bloke in rugby (i have never seen him play league) that he'll finish up better than Nadolo ... and pdq at that.
this bloke has the advantages of (1) playing in a hot team on the end of a very talented line with determined attacking bent (2) being coached by The Great Cheik, Nathan Grey and Darryl Gibson (3) having some seriously talented and experienced team mates to tutor him in the game's intricacies.

he will make it big.
all he needs is a trip to the right office for a name change.

I think it depends on how Taqele works in pre season, he needs to lose the puppy fat and learn to work harder off the ball.

He can be/has been skinned on the outside, but that should improve with fitness, agility work and improved positioning.

Nadalo was moved on because has wasn't doing the work both on and off the field (he said himself he needed the kick up the arse).

It is up to Taqele, but he is already better for the Tahs than Nandalo ever was
