Hangers should be available for the Brumbies, I'm just wondering how they'll train while he's injured. Presumably we woulnd't want to move everyone when Dan's back for the game, but I doubt he'll do much training

IMO this is what you have a junior squad for. You bring across the 10 from the juniors and tell him to mould his play on Hangers. This has three good effects:

1. The rest of the backline remains settled and can focus on their own training.
2. The junior learns to play with the seniors and gets hands-on experience with the team way of playing at a higher level than he would normally.
3. The overall team pattern is maintained. If you want to keep doing it right you need to practice it very regularly.

Your numbers are out but I'm sure it makes a difference.

It just highlights how important the medical staff are for a team.

Medical staff for luck? Maybe both.

One of the reasons why I don't bother following the NRL is that injuries play such a key part in dteremining the finalists each year, its almost a game of survivor.
