I saw lopeti timani play against Sydney uni a few weeks ago.......if he can convert the same intensity of play to super rugby level he is going to be a real weapon

Difference between him and his brother Is work rate he has a huge engine. But yes he has terrible body height probably due to the fact that he is a former Toyota cup player

He is incredibly raw. Hopefully he is much improved in 2013 but he lacked a lot of technique in 2012.

Bodyheight was probably his biggest issue.

He has a big frame though and like his brother can make some massive tackles. Keen to see more of him for the Tahs in 2013.
A decent forwards coach should be able to correct his body height, timing and entry point into breakdowns. Admittedly, it is "only" Shute Shield, but I like seeing a player that can pick and drive and get good metres over the advantage line from a static start, which I've seen him do a bit. Would be even better off a short run, if he can get low.
Good potential for the Tahs, especially with Palu and his injury issues.

I was watching Lopeti play on the ABC game last weekend, like everyone says, still raw, at least 12 months away from been genuinely considered for super rugby
